It’s already so hot out there 🥵 Last year I started using this cooling blanket when one of my horses spiked a fever during the heat of the summer. Within 30 min his fever went down! Now I use it for recovery post exercise in the heat. It sits in a tub of water with vetrolin, gets put on the rinsed horse for 20 minutes after they exercise and they LOVE it. 💦

Team LCH has had another amazing show season and now that things are slowing down, I can reflect 🤓

I am so proud of all my riders and their efforts this year. Scores towards USDF medals, qualifying scores, personal bests, new horses with new adventures, some young and some old. We always show up with a variety of horses and riders, and bring our A game. I love how well everyone is turned out, encouraging we are and how much fun we have! It isn't always rainbows, but we work out butts off to make this all happen. 💪

Personally, I am thrilled with the progress my babies made! Both showed in their USEF four year old test, training and then first levels. It has been such a joy bringing them along!

Time for some much deserved summer rest (but not before a handful more centerlines before the summer heat wave). We will be back in the fall!💚💛

Lisa Hellmer is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist, former USEF Para Development Coach, and USPC Graduate B, Traditional. 🇺🇸 She has experience with all levels and breed types which makes her a very approachable coach. Her classical approach makes dressage fun and engaging for all riders of various disciplines. She develops her own horses from the ground up and can help with any stage of your training and education.
