As winter horses head home, I intentionally keep my program small to maintain the level of detail, care, and results I expect. Beginning in May, I will have space available for:

• 1 full training horse
• 1 sales/consignment horse (accepted on a selective, case-by-case basis)

Training horses are managed as individuals, with tailored programs that include riding, feeding, and overall care structured specifically for each horse. No two programs are the same, and your horse is never just another number here.

This is not a volume-based sales barn. I take pride in thoughtfully matching the right horse with the right rider - ensuring long-term success, not quick turnover.

Consignment horses are accepted on a review basis to ensure the right fit for both the horse and the program. My focus is on correct development, honest representation, and producing horses that are confident, rideable, and set up for success in their next step.

PSG Schoolmaster – On-Property Half Lease or Limited Lessons

Experienced schoolmaster shown through Prix St. Georges available for an adult amateur or junior rider looking to develop through the levels.

Now stepping back slightly from the FEI ring to focus on teaching and helping a rider confidently develop the movements through Third Level, making him an excellent partner for someone working toward their USDF Bronze Medal.

A generous and rideable horse that knows his job. Not suitable for a beginner, but does not require a particularly bold ride.

Available for on-property half lease or a limited number of weekly lessons within a professional training program.

Opportunity to show at WEC with trainer.

We’re thrilled to welcome a new working student to Élan Vital Dressage this season. She’s making a big move to Ocala to continue her education and bring her horse south for the winter—an exciting step in any young rider’s career.

Mit großer Dankbarkeit nehmen wir Abschied von Stedinger, der in seiner letzten Heimat in Australien verstorben ist.

Stedinger wurde im Jahr 2000 bei uns geboren. Als Sohn des Ausnahmevererbers Sandro Hit aus der Bold Fantasy von Landadel x Futuro hat er die Dressurpferdezucht unserer Hengststation maßgeblich begründet und über viele Jahre entscheidend geprägt.

Bereits früh machte er international auf sich aufmerksam: 2002 wurde Stedinger Siegerhengst der Oldenburger Hengstkörung. Es folgten der Titel Hauptprämien-Reservesieger sowie eine herausragende 70-Tage-Leistungsprüfung mit einem Gesamtindex von 131 Punkten.

Viele Jahre stand Stedinger als einer unserer prägenden Dressurhengste im Deckeinsatz. Später wechselte er nach Australien, wo er sowohl im Sport als auch in der Zucht erfolgreiche Spuren hinterließ. Unter Gina Montgomery erzielte er bedeutende Erfolge im australischen Dressursport.

Stedinger hinterlässt ein außergewöhnliches züchterisches Vermächtnis. Er ist Vater von über 40 gekörten Hengsten, mehr als 100 FEI-Sportpferden und zahlreichen international erfolgreichen Grand-Prix-Nachkommen, darunter Spirit of the Age OLD (Bernadette Brune), Fil Rouge (Laurence Roos), Stand by Me OLD (Lisa Müller) und Santiago (Simone Pearce). Zahlreiche Nachkommen sind zudem im Spring- und Vielseitigkeitssport bis zur schweren Klasse erfolgreich.

Some horses don’t sparkle at first.
They’re quirky. Or ordinary. Or the kind others quietly pass on.

But to a certain kind of person, they make you pause.
You see something, not flashy or obvious, but real.

That’s what William Fox-Pitt talked about when he joined Dear Horse World.
