Mille Fleurs is hiring a part-time groom. We are a private show barn based in Ocala, FL with only 2 riders (an owner and a trainer) and we usually have between 4-6 horses. We are looking for someone who can work 2 days per week (you pick which days you work) for 8 hours per day at a pay rate of $25 per hour.
We prefer someone with less than 10 years of experience who understands that the owner's and trainer’s instructions and how we operate the barn is not negotiable. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and is proficient in English. Must be a US Citizen or have legal authorization to work in the United States. Normal grooming duties include but are not limited to stall cleaning, turnout, grooming, tacking, clipping, feeding, cleaning tack. When there is down time, you must be willing to assist with light landscaping duties such as raking leaves, etc., however this is not a landscaping/groom combination role as we do have a full-time landscaper.
