One of my favourite of Viper's rounds from this winter. It's so great when he puts all the pieces together, and is so relaxed doing it.

Another knock out by Orpheus.

We welcome Orwell (Orpheus x Toulon x Major de la Cour) to the crew. He arrived swiftly just before 4am, and was up and nursing within the hour. He is strong, nimble, and healthy. And of course Orpheus stamped him with all of the chrome.

Orwell's dam Elatrice represented Columbia πŸ‡¨πŸ‡΄ under Andres Rodriguez and has a mile long record showing all over from Spruce Meadows, to the Bolivarian Games, Kentucky, Wellington and everything in-between.

We have been so looking forward to meeting this c**t, and it was well worth the wait!

✨ A Star From the Start

Born in France in 1989, Baloubet du Rouet was bred for greatness. He came from outstanding bloodlines and had all the raw ability needed to become a top athlete. But talent alone was not what made him special. He also had a bold spirit, a strong personality, and the kind of energy that made people stop and watch. πŸ”₯

He was not always the easiest horse to ride, but that intensity became part of what made him extraordinary. Behind the power was a horse full of heart, intelligence, and determination. ❀️

🀝 A Remarkable Partnership

Baloubet’s greatest success came through his partnership with Brazilian rider Rodrigo Pessoa. Together, they created one of the most memorable combinations the sport has ever seen. Their performances were filled with athleticism, trust, and precision. πŸ‡

What made them so impressive was not just the number of classes they won, but the way they performed. They brought excitement to every round and showed what is possible when rider and horse truly understand each other. ✨

πŸ₯‡ A Career Full of Glory

Baloubet du Rouet built a career that many horses could only dream of. He captured major international titles and became famous for delivering brilliant performances on the biggest stages. 🌍

His success was not based on one lucky moment. It came from years of excellence, consistency, and courage in elite competition. πŸ’ͺ

πŸ”₯ More Than Just Talent

Baloubet was admired not only for what he achieved, but for how he did it. He had presence. He had fire. He had style. Every jump seemed to carry both strength and elegance. 🌈

Fans loved him because he was never forgettable. He brought emotion to the sport and reminded people that great horses are not machinesβ€”they are personalities. Baloubet had plenty of that. πŸ˜„

🧬 A Legacy That Lives On

After retiring from competition, Baloubet du Rouet continued to influence the sport through breeding. His qualities lived on in his offspring, many of whom went on to succeed in international jumping. 🐴
