From hay/alfalfa to scale-weighed feed with feed-through fly control to hoof care, including hoof trims every 4-6 weeks, to fly spraying/bathing/hosing/grooming to minor skin/wound treatments to applying your fly masks/fly sheets/blankets to enrichment activities for mind, body, and soul, these services are all included utilizing Luxus provided high quality products. (other outside professional services, special medication costs, and special supplement costs are excluded) Choose your vet and/or farrier or use ours. We want our owner's boarding experience here to be one of simplicity, confidence, and joy! Sitting on nearly 30 peaceful, park-like acres, Luxus also offers cameras throughout the property for owners to log-in and view their horses, 24-hour gated property security, owners and manager who live on-site (WE do all the care...not outside help!!!), a concrete block barn with sprinkler system, 2 covered hot/cold wash racks, matted 12x12 stalls with water, fans and PortaGrazers, shelters with fans, drinking posts, 2 horse trailers in case of emergency, solar with battery back-up insuring water and electric for all, a nylon-footing arena, a play paddock, and three HUGE, paved RV rental sites with dedicated paddock for each and with full water, electric, sewer, and wi-fi making out-of-town boarder visits a breeze! Luxus pasture management and grounds maintenance programs are second to none! Working in conjunction with USF’s Ag Dept, regular soil testing is performed to maintain the best forage for our equine family which includes the necessary fertilization and weed and ant treatments, along with proper pasture resting periods. Trees are checked and trimmed regularly, fences/gates are checked daily, and cleaning protocols are meticulous. To insure our investment in these pastures, we will board no more than a total of 13 horses on this property, so remaining availability is limited.
