Today was grooming day for my pups!

Pongo got a much-needed b***y & paw trim, while Posie girl got her nails painted! 💅
And let me tell you… they smell SO much better!🙌🏼 They were definitely overdue for some pampering!

🍂🐾 Happy September (almost)! 🐾🍂

I can’t believe we’re heading into September already! I’m officially on maternity leave and getting ready for this next chapter, but things at the shop are still running as usual! 💕

Hannah is holding down the fort, and she is doing an AMAZING job! She’ll be continuing to do all of the grooming while I’m away, so your pups are in very good hands!

📍 Hannah’s hours:
Sunday–Wednesday | 10 AM–4 PM

September is already filling up quickly, especially Sundays! Her Sunday appointments are getting very scarce, so if Sunday is your preferred grooming day, make sure you get booked ASAP.
Monday–Wednesday have a little more flexibility, but those days are filling up quickly too!

🐾 IT’S NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾

Honestly, probably the best day, right?! 🥹🤍 In honor of the day, I thought I’d share some fun facts about my own pups, Pongo & Posie!

🐶 First up: the Pongo man!

We adopted Pongo from the Effingham County Humane Society. He was a puppy surrender, so I’ve had this little guy since he was just a tiny 13-week-old lad. He is mainly Australian Shepherd and Poodle mix, but according to his DNA test, he actually has 13 breeds in him! So basically… he’s just the cutest mutt. 😂

Pongo is, to say the least… unique. He’s extremely loyal, a little neurotic, and just a tiny bit unhinged. 😅 For being only slightly over a year old, he knows SO many tricks and, if you subtract the barking, he’s probably the most well-behaved puppy I’ve ever owned. 😂

He LOVES toys, playing fetch, and roughhousing with his human brother. He is also my absolute shadow. He wants to be by my side and involved in whatever I’m doing at all times.

He’s a big lover of other dogs, but not so much of people… and honestly, I think that’s pretty understandable. 😂

🐶 Next up: my Posie girl!

We also adopted Posie from the Effingham County Humane Society. She was roughly 6 months old when we got her. I haven’t done a DNA test on her yet, but she is believed to be Pit, Golden Retriever, and Lab mix. Just another adorable mutt really! 🥰

I think she and Pongo are roughly four months apart, and they couldn’t be more opposite if they tried.

Posie is everything sweet, calm, and nonchalant. She LOVES people, while other dogs are more of a “meh” situation… although she absolutely adores Pongo and is very attached to him. If he’s laying down, she will often choose to lay right next to him and cuddle him. 🥹

She is the ultimate cuddle bug and couch potato. I have truly never met such a lazy puppy. 😂 If lounging were an Olympic sport, Posie would have a gold medal. 🏅

🤍 Before these two, there was our original pack of hounds: Elvis, Molly & Richard.
These three are the pups featured in my logo. They were our babies before we had babies, and they will always be remembered and missed. 🤍

I was honestly nervous to get Pongo and Posie after losing our original three. We lost all three of them only a year and some change apart from one another, and it was HARD.

But I’m so thankful we decided to adopt again. Pongo and Posie have been the perfect additions to our home, and I truly can’t imagine walking through my door and not having a hound (or two 😅) there to greet me. 🤍

I’m also incredibly thankful for this career and for all of the sweet doggies I get to meet along the way. One of my absolute favorite parts of grooming is building a connection with each dog and learning their unique personalities while helping them look and feel their very best!

This may seem like the smallest upgrade, but man have I HATED this part of my wall since the day I bought this building..😅😂
I’m so excited to finally have a pretty greenery wall and my neon sign to look at instead!

Can we take a moment for this progress?!🙌🏼

While things aren’t 100% complete just yet and we still have some decorating, finishing touches, and a few minor things to wrap up, I am SO excited about these updates and how everything is coming together!🥹

✨ NEW flooring that was DESPERATELY needed
✨ Fresh paint
✨ An entire wall removed
✨ An almost completely remodeled walk-in shower
✨ An upgraded tub in the front
✨ Upgraded lighting started
✨ And FINALLY having all of my grooming equipment and supplies in ONE place! 🙌🏼

I truly can’t say thank you enough to my husband and my dad. These two have worked SO tirelessly for me and have put countless hours, hard work, and love into making this shop what it is. So many of the things you see in these pictures are because they took my ideas, figured out how to make them happen, and worked until they did.🤍

I have a small handful of people who have always been behind me, cheering me on and supporting me through every crazy idea, risk, opportunity, move, expansion, downsizing, and everything in between. That little village means more to me than I could ever put into words, and they are a HUGE part of why I’ve been able to take the chances I have with my business.

I’ve made a lot of changes over the years, and there have definitely been moments where I’ve wondered if I was crazy for taking certain risks…😬 But looking around at this shop and seeing everything slowly come together makes me so incredibly proud and thankful that I kept going.

And now I’m just SO excited for my clients to see it in person! There’s still a little work to do, but seeing the difference already has me so excited to finish all the little details and make this space feel like Pawsley’s.🤍

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, trusted me with your dogs, encouraged me, and continued to follow along through all of the changes. I truly wouldn’t be here without you!!

• Our Client Agreement Form, which goes over all of our grooming policies.
• Our Card on File Authorization Form.

Hi, I'm Molly! 🐶💛

Today I had a spa day. I got a warm bath, a fresh haircut, my nails trimmed, and lots of compliments for being such a good girl (which, if you ask me, were well deserved).

Now I'm extra fluffy, I smell amazing, and I'm pretty sure everyone I meet is going to tell me how pretty I am. I'd call that a successful day. ✨🐾

Just a little photo dump of these gorgeous girls after their spa day! 🛁✨🐾

Meet Millie, the beautiful Belgian Malinois, and Beretta, the stunning Dutch Shepherd. A fun fact about these two ladies, they're both Search & Rescue dogs! 🦺 Their dedication and drive are just as impressive as they are.

And then there's Tater... the sweet little corgi who's simply ✨just a girl✨💅. No Search & Rescue duties for this queen…. her duties are just being adorable and stealing hearts. She is a very well-behaved girl, though! 🩷

It was such a pleasure getting these three looking and feeling their best. We can't wait to have these beautiful ladies back for their next spa day!
