Special Visitors at the Rescue: A Touch of Grace

This weekend was so heartwarming in that it brought some incredible visitors to the rescue — a visit from 3 generations of a special family who not only supports our rescue ministry but shares their time, prayers, and compassion with our animals and us. Their presence reminded us that love knows no boundaries and that kindness can come when least expected!

Seeing the awe and wonder in the children’s eyes as they fed treats to animals who’ve come from difficult pasts was truly moving. Their pure kindness and gentle hearts brought an overwhelming sense of light and love into our space.

In moments like these, we are reminded of the words in Proverbs 12:10: "The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel." Our visitors embodied the righteous spirit — tender, intentional, and full of grace.

We also reflect on Matthew 25:40, where Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me."

May we all be inspired to reach out with open hands and hearts — because sometimes, the smallest act of love makes the biggest difference - even to the animals.

Talk about a busy week here at the farm! This week’s activities consisted of a farrier visit for all of the horses, and our two babydoll sheep, “Bo” and “Bear”, got sheared to prepare for the warm weather.🌞

Between the two visits, it came out to a total of $500. If you would like to contribute to either the shearing or farrier bill, listed belows are ways you can do so. Anything is a blessing and is greatly appreciated!🐴🐑
