A lot of people think Rottweilers are “supposed” to have short tails, but they’re actually born with full natural tails. Docking became popular years ago for working dogs and breed standards, not because it made dogs healthier or stronger.

One interesting fact: tail injuries in pet dogs are actually very rare. A natural tail also helps dogs communicate better with body language, especially around other dogs.

Docked or natural, a well-bred Rottweiler is still the same loyal, powerful, and loving dog ❤️
