Legacy Equine Sports Medicine is an ambulatory practice providing high quality sports medicine services to equine athletes in the bay area region. Dr. Jackie Dietrich started Legacy Equine in 2023 in an effort to follow her passion in equine sports medicine. Our mission is to focus on equine biomechanics and provide accurate diagnostics and carefully select therapeutic treatment plans.

We aim to work collaboratively with the industry leaders to provide comprehensive sports medicine care by evaluating every aspect of the equine athlete in order to enhance their performance and comfort. Actively integrating acupuncture, medical manipulation (aka chiropractic), and pre- and rehabilitation services complements our therapeutic treatment plans.

Legacy Equine is a relationship-driven practice that prides itself on reliability, communication and veterinarian accessibility. We strive to provide the personalized care our clients and patients deserve.
