Oakland Veterinary Clinic Thank you for your interest in the Oakland Vet Clinic. We are excited to help you with your animal We board dogs, cats, birds and other small animals.

We are a one doctor mixed-animal veterinary practice in Oakland Iowa. We can help you with all of your veterinary needs, from the smallest exotics to the largest farm animals. We have mobile veterinary units to make house calls; we do elective and non-elective surgeries; we have radiology, ultrasound, bloodwork machines, and dental equipment. We have both indoor cages and outdoor runs. We are happ

y to help you with your equine needs, including castrations and floating teeth. If you have an emergency, we can help you during office hours, or after normal office hours. Please call the clinic number to reach a doctor after hours.

The clinic will not be taking anymore appointments. We will be closing the office on December 16. The Shelby Vet Clinic has purchased the clinic. The plans as of now are that they will have Dr.’s and staff available around the first of the year. Medical records will be transferred to them and the transition should go smoothly for all of our clients and patients. Thank you for all of your support.
