Last chance to register to join us on May 20, 2026 (3 PM PT / 6 PM ET) for a RACE-approved webinar exploring how microbiome science translates into real clinical outcomes for atopic dermatitis patients.

What you’ll learn in this session:
- How gut barrier dysfunction contributes to systemic inflammation.
- The role of microbiome modulation in improved dermatologic outcomes.
- Clinical evidence behind postbiotic strategies in atopic dermatitis.
- How to integrate microbiome-targeted support into multimodal treatment plans.

We’ll also review Skin Rescue’s formulation and clinical applications, including its use alongside corticosteroids, biologics, and dietary interventions to support barrier function and modulate inflammation.

Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month | How the gut–lung connection in cats is gaining clinical relevance.

A recent study analyzing 117 feline cases found a clear link between gut microbiome imbalances and respiratory disease, reinforcing what many veterinary teams are beginning to observe in practice: respiratory health is not isolated, it’s systemic.

Targeted probiotic and nutraceutical interventions showed measurable improvements, particularly in obstructive respiratory conditions. This adds to the growing body of evidence that microbiome modulation can positively influence respiratory outcomes.

What this means in practice:
• Gut microbiome testing can identify underlying dysbiosis.
• Targeted interventions allow for more personalized treatment plans.
• FMT may offer a restorative approach in complex or chronic cases.

As our understanding evolves, integrating microbiome health into respiratory case management may help improve outcomes from the inside out.

Be Parvo-Ready | Prepare your clinic for Parvo season

With over 250,000 cases annually, parvo continues to place a heavy burden on clinics and clients.

A recent clinical study (Winston et al., 2026) shows that administering FMT e***a at admission and oral FMT during recovery can lead to:
- Approx. 2 days shorter hospitalization.
- Approx. 50% lower cost of care.
- Faster recovery.

We’ve translated this into a clinic-ready solution — the Parvo Restore Protocol:
A standardized approach designed to support patients from admission through recovery.

Each kit supports 5 cases, and includes:
• FMT e***a material for immediate use
• Oral FMT capsules for continued microbiome support
• Protocol guidance aligned with published data

In recognition of Pet Cancer Awareness Month, we’re highlighting a critical area of feline oncology that continues to challenge clinical practice.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma accounts for up to 70% of feline oral neoplasms, with limited treatment options and poor prognoses. Emerging research is now pointing to the tumor microbiome as a potential factor in disease dynamics and method for guiding future care approaches.

Our free, RACE-approved webinar is now available on demand.

In this session, you will learn:

• The prevalence and clinical outlook of feline OSCC
• How feline OSCC compares to human squamous cell carcinoma as a spontaneous disease model
• Evidence of oral microbial dysbiosis in affected cats
• Key changes in microbial diversity and composition
• Implications for pathogenesis, biomarker development, and non-antibiotic therapeutic strategies

Designed for veterinary professionals seeking continuing education at the intersection of oncology, oral health, and microbiome science.

World Veterinary Day 2026 🌍

This year’s theme, “Veterinarians as Guardians of Food and Health,” highlights the essential role veterinarians play in protecting both animal and public health.
At Animal Biome Veterinary, we support that mission by equipping veterinarians with microbiome-based tools and education to help inform clinical decision-making.
Through microbiome-informed care, veterinarians are:
• Supporting a resilient, balanced gut ecosystem in their patients.
• Encouraging responsible antibiotic use.
• Applying evidence-based, targeted strategies for dysbiosis.
This work doesn’t just impact individual patients; it also contributes to a broader One Health approach, where animal health, microbial health, and public health are deeply connected.
Protecting health means looking beyond the symptoms to the larger systems that sustain recovery.

Today, we recognize and thank veterinary professionals for leading the shift toward more sustainable, science-driven care.
