Time to share the sweet story of Dipper, formerly known as Mr. Mustache! ❤️🐾
After spending the first part of his life living on the streets of Pompano Beach, Dipper came to Beyond 9 at the end of 2022. With a lot of love and attention, he became a very friendly cat. After an extended stay, Dipper’s kittens’ foster dad found him a home with relatives out-of-state, and one plane flight later, he arrived at his new home with Jessica and Thomas in Minnesota.
Always one to be wary of change, Dipper spent a lot of time early on hiding in his safe room and sitting on his new window hammock. He quickly made friends with their 17-year-old senior cat, Wick, and the two are now best friends, frequently napping together around the house.
After adapting to his new circumstances, Dipper discovered that he loves couches, laps, and snuggles. He enjoys pets from Jessica on the couch and sitting in Thomas’s lap while he reads.
“I think that he was extremely timid when we first got him, but with a lot of time he has blossomed into an extremely lovey boy. It took a lot of patience on our part, and adjustment on his, but he is now an established member of our family and adopting him has been very rewarding.” — Jessica

Dipper’s story is such a beautiful reminder that with patience, love, and time, even the shyest cats can blossom into loving members of a family. ❤️🐾
