Charlotte Sue.
My heart is so full today.
We can officially share that our sweet, gentle Charlotte Sue has passed all of her health testing and will become a mama with us early next year.

We held our breath after her testingā¦ because the very next day we realized she was in full heat. We had actually thought she had already cycled in June ā her body showed some of the usual changes ā but it wasnāt a true heat. This was the real one.
Any of us whoāve lived this life know how scary that timing can be. Hormones during heat loosen the hips and ligaments to prepare for the miracle of birthā¦ which means the scores we just got might not fully reflect how solid her structure really is. We truly believe sheās better than a Fair, but weāll take a Fair with gratitude, knowing what was happening in her body. This could have gone so differently.
And yet here we are ā clear results, healthy girl, and a future that suddenly feels even brighter.
Charlotte has always been a natural mama. Quiet, soft, steady. Sheās helped raise so many of our puppies with a patience and gentleness that melts me every time I watch her. The thought of her finally getting to raise her ownā¦ it just feels right.
Weāre so proud of you, Charlotte Sue.
And so, so grateful.
