This is Reese. He is approximately 14 months old, loves other dogs, kids, & cats too! He is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccinations & current on his monthly flea, tick, & heartworm prevention.
He came into GCAC ON 5/26/26.

He still has a lot of puppy left in him and like most puppies do, he will find himself in some mischievous situations if he's left unattended for long periods of time.

He loves toys & treats, is extremely treat motivated & exceptionally smart! Reese is kennel trained but can quickly determine how to free himself if a secondary latch/lock or something of that nature isn't used!

Reese is an incredibly adaptable pup. If its time to settle down, hes ready to rest. If someone wants to play he's ready to play too!

Car rides are not his favorite but once he's in the car he does well. He absolutely hates baths & everything we attempt to work on that I'm the one that ends up soaked & soapy him not so much!
That's it!
Those are the only two things I can say Reese doesn't love! He's a happy, healthy, outgoing, gentle boy who loves everyone & everything! The family that adopts this boy is truly going to be very lucky to have such an awesome boy!

I have had quite a lot of you ask if I have recently gotten some help at the shop with grooming & the answer is YES! Some may remember seeing her around the shop last year after my motorcycle accident! Buffy stepped in to help keep up with the grooms almost immediately afterwards & I have been so grateful for that ever since!

Her life with dogs goes back a long way. She began grooming in 1993 and is also a certified dog trainer, giving her more than 30 years of experience working hands-on with dogs.

And grooming is only one part of her story.

Over the years, she has owned, trained, bred, and handled AKC Champions, as well as dogs earning titles in obedience, agility, and Schutzhund. Basically, when she says she knows dogs… she REALLY knows dogs. 😂🐾

Through all those years, a couple of breeds have managed to hold an extra-special place in her heart: Poodles and Briards. ❤️ There’s just something about those big personalities, all that hair, and dogs that are way too smart for their own good!

That background brings something pretty special to the grooming table, too. A good groom isn’t only about the finished haircut—it’s about being able to read the dog in front of you, understand their behavior and body language, and adjust your approach to what that particular dog needs.
It has been such a pleasure getting to work alongside Buffy this time around, and watching her do just that!

I can say without a doubt that she has been & will continue to be an incredible asset to the shop. Not only does she bring an incredible amount of knowledge and experience, but she brings a calm, patient, and gentle approach that I truly value.

After more than three decades of grooming, training, showing, and simply loving dogs, she’s worked with quite the variety—and we’re pretty lucky to have all that experience under our roof!

I’m genuinely grateful to have her here, and I’m so excited for what’s to come! I can’t wait for all of you to get the opportunity to know Buffy as well as I do, because I know without a doubt that your pups are in the very best hands. ❤️🐾

Well, apparently I’ve been going about gaining followers all wrong. 😂 Who knew all it took was a little few-day hospital stay to gain over 200 followers! 😅

I’ve been meaning to do so for some time and I can’t think of a better time then now while I am still doing a bit of resting to recover! 🩷
Here is goes….

Hi! I’m Karissa 👋🏼 — owner and groomer here at Tail of 2 Groomers, and the face you’ll usually find somewhere behind all the dog hair. 😂🐾

I started grooming 13 years ago. But dogs, cats, just pets in general have been an important part of my life for my entire life.

As a child, my idea of a fun weekend was spending the day at our local animal control with my mom—walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, handing out treats, and carefully deciding which sweet face I was going to spend the rest of the day convincing her we absolutely had to take home and foster. 😂🐾

I am one of the lucky ones that gets to wake up each morning & head off to a job I genuinely love doing. I love the dogs that come through these doors & I want your pets to know me, trust me, and feel comfortable being here. Some need a little extra patience, some need a lot of reassurance, and some walk in like they own the place. 😂 I love them all.

We also offer boarding & daycare on a much smaller scale than most which I enjoy very much. My clients have become friends, their dogs have become part of my furry family, and I’m incredibly lucky that I get to do something I love every day. 🩷

So whether you’ve trusted me with your babies for years or you just found this page because Facebook apparently decided a hospital stay was my big marketing break 😂 — welcome!
