Buttercup and Precious are in NJ foster homes and are currently waiting for their forever families!

📍 Located in Monmouth County, NJ
🌼 BUTTERCUP is a sweet Pekingese/Beagle mix with an affectionate and playful spirit. She loves being close to her people, happily soaking up attention, but also has just the right amount of s***k to keep you smiling. Buttercup is wonderful with other dogs and adores people of all ages, including kids, making her an easy addition to many different types of homes. She’s already leash, house, and crate-trained. About 10 months old / 13 lbs (F)
🎀 PRECIOUS is a sweet Pomeranian mix who unfortunately spent much of her life locked away in a covered crate. She’s a gentle, sensitive soul who is finally learning what it means to feel safe. Every day, her personality shines a little brighter. She’s playful, happy, and absolutely loves being outside soaking up the fresh air. Precious gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys being brushed, and is even good with cats and children. She will thrive with a patient family! About 2.5 years old / 12 lbs (F)

PETEY, DEXTER, and BRODIE are with our rescue partner in Louisiana and need fosters or adopters to come to NJ! These adorable pups want a chance at a happy ending... can you help make that happen?
⭐️ PETEY has a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s always ready for adventures, is great with kids, and loves playtime. At the end of the day, he also knows how to settle in for sofa cuddles and quiet time. Petey is dog-friendly and is the kind of guy who fits right into family life. About 2 years old / 26 lbs (M)
⭐️ DEXTER is a black Lab mix who embodies everything you love about the breed —playful, affectionate, and loyal. He's friendly, curious, eager to learn, and great around kids and other dogs. But Dexter’s story didn’t start out so kind when he and his three littermates were heartlessly dumped on a highway, left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, they are now safe, but instead of a home, they’ve been waiting in a vet’s office. Let’s get Dexter out of the vet’s office and into loving a home where he belongs! Sweet tripod Preston was hit by a car and spent weeks fending for himself before he was finally rescued. The accident cost him his right rear leg, but it never took away his joy for life. He has been waiting so patiently for his forever family!

❤️ Affectionate, loyal dog who forms a deep bond with his person
🐶 Loves being around other dogs and has done especially well in structured social settings like daycare
🐾 You’d never guess he’s missing a leg by the way he runs and plays
🏠 Can be a little sensitive in the home as he settles in

We can't believe how long some of these incredible dogs have been waiting to find their forever families ❤️‍🩹

Perhaps people hesitate when they see a dog who’s been overlooked for months because their mind fills with questions: Is there a reason no one picked them? Will they be difficult? What if I can’t fix them? To have those fears is human, but the reality is, these dogs don't need to be fixed.
Each of them has been through more than their fair share, and all they need now is someone who is going to understand them, love them, and give them the time they need to feel safe. They might need structure and patience while they adjust to a new home, but in return, they are going to give you their whole heart.
The reward for adopting a dog is profound. They notice every kindness because they remember a life before kindness existed. The dog you adopt isn't the only one who will transform. You will become more patient, more compassionate, and more grateful. Choosing a dog who has been waiting this long doesn’t just change one life. It reshapes two.

We have some adorable kittens - and a gorgeous mama cat - available for adoption! They're headed to NJ on our 6/27 transport.
😻 GIMLI - Friendly, cuddly, very sweet and very adorable ginger boy! 2 mos / 1.5 lbs (M)
😻 EMILIA - Affectionate, loves to play and loves to cuddle. 1.5 mos / 2 lbs (F)
😻 EVERETT - Super friendly and loves to play. 1.5 mos / 2 lbs (M)
😻 EZRA - Very playful and very sweet. 1.5 mos / 2 lbs (M)
😻 EMRYS - Very sweet and playful. Loves to play with his siblings. 1.5 mos / 2 lbs (M)
😻 MAMA EVELYN - Very calm and friendly. Great with other cats. Mom to Emilia, Everett, Ezra and Emrys. We aren't sure about children, but older children 10+ should be fine. We also aren't sure about dogs but will have a better idea once she arrives to her foster home in NJ. 2 yrs / 8 lbs (F)

Kittens do best when adopted in pairs or with another young cat in the home for play and companionship.

These kittens are too young to be neutered and adopters will need to take them to their neuter appointment when they are old enough. Adopters must live in New Jersey and be within an hour drive to Holmdel, NJ.

Sweet, affectionate and likes snuggles when playtime winds down. This adorable brindle boy is good with dogs and kids! 2 mos / 12 lbs (M)
💚 BISCUIT - This sweet girl was found outside with her littermates. She’s playful, affectionate, and already crate-trained (yes, she’s a smart cookie, too). She adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy. She’s the perfect mix of sweetness, playfulness, and companionship! 5 mos / 14 lbs (F)
💛 FOXY - This gorgeous girl is friendly with people and new dogs, and she’s currently being fostered with kids and a cat, where she’s doing well. She’s kennel trained, but not fully house-trained yet, so she’ll need patience and consistency. She may bark at strangers and can be a bit of a runner, so a secure yard is a must. Foxy is loyal companion in a little body! 4.5 yrs / 8 lbs (F)
