This filly needed a moment to soak. Sit in that 'ah ha, thats what you wanted moment'.

These youngsters are so smart and willing.
We are teaching them to understand what we are asking.
Building confidence in the understanding of our Q's.

Each day is different and it doesn't happen on a set timeline. We have to watch their reactions help fill their sponge, but not push to overfill or frustrate them.
Ending on a clear note of understanding so they know they found the right answer and you can build from there.

You can tell the difference when you go to catch a c**t that wants to 'checkout' tense up at the sight of you or comes to the gate ears perked 'take me to work, I want to learn.'
