Our on-site rider helps bridge the gap between rehabilitation and returning to work. Under saddle, subtle changes in movement, balance, and comfort often become more apparent than they are from the ground. Rider evaluations allow your veterinarian to assess how your horse performs with the added weight of a rider, helping ensure they’re truly ready to progress safely and confidently back to work.

There is something special about watching a horse enjoy the quiet pace of retirement.

Our irrigated pastures give retirement horses space to graze, move, and simply enjoy being horses.

Nebulizer treatments deliver medication directly to your horse's airways, helping target the lungs while minimizing effects on the rest of the body. They can be an effective option for horses with conditions such as equine asthma, inflammatory airway disease, or other respiratory concerns.

🔄 Returning to Work

Just because a horse has been cleared to return to work doesn’t mean they can pick up where they left off.

After time off, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and cardiovascular fitness all need time to rebuild. A gradual, individualized conditioning program helps reduce the risk of re-injury and supports a successful return to performance.

At Premier Equine Center, each horse’s exercise plan is tailored according to veterinary instructions and adjusted based on their progress, with the goal of helping them safely regain strength, fitness, and confidence.

PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy is now offered at Premier Equine to support horses throughout their rehabilitation programs.
PEMF works by delivering gentle electromagnetic pulses to targeted areas of the body, helping support circulation, and promote the body’s natural healing processes. It can be beneficial for horses recovering from injury and is provided per veterinarian discharge instructions.
