🐶👃🏻👃🏻The NOSE knows from ORKC! Inaugural AKC National Master Scent Work Tournament held in Wilmington, Ohio in October. Three teams represented ORKC. From left to right:

🎉🎉🎊🎥🐶ORKC’s 2026 January Agility Trial will be held January 9-11 at the Roane State Agricultural Expo Center in Harriman! The trial starts at 8:00 AM each day and runs until early afternoon. There is no admission and spectators are welcome!

Volunteers
We can’t run trials without volunteers and we would love to have your help! Starting on Thursday afternoon (~4:00 PM) we need help to unload equipment and set up the rings. And of course we will need lots of volunteers throughout the trial on Friday-Sunday. No experience necessary - just come on down and we’ll get you started! Volunteers will receive vouchers that may be used for entries to future trials or for purchases from agility trial vendors! Also great opportunity for club members to earn their volunteer hours!

We look forward to seeing you at the trial!!

🐶🛎️🎆🎆The ORKC All Breed Agility Trials are right around the corner! This 3-day event will be held at the East Tennessee Agricultural Exposition Center in Harriman, TN January 9-11, 2026. Entries close on December 24, 2025 at 6:00 pm. We hope you will join us!

We had several members test this past weekend for Canine Good Citizen, Canine Good Citizen Advanced at Bissel Park, Novice and Advanced Trick dog titles too. All were a joy to be working with their person and demonstrating such great manners.

Chevy Flat Coat Retriever earned his CGC and Advanced titles.
Cookie Standard Black Poodle earned his CGC and Advanced titles. Both owned by Denise Davis

Stormy Golden Retriever earned his Canine Good Citizen title abd novice trick owned by Kathy Ambrose

Lula West Highland White Terrier earned her Canine Good Citizen title and her Novice Trick owner Sara Brock

Rune Rottweiler earned her advanced truck title with Diane Sacksteder

Thor German Shorthair Pointer earned his Canine Good Citizen Advanced with his owner Cindi Chilbert

Judith Wire Fox Terrier earned her Canine Good Citizen Advanced owner Becky Malivuk

We would like to thank everyone who attended our fall Obedience and Rally trials this past weekend. We really enjoyed spending the weekend with you and your wonderful dogs! Please save the date for our spring Obedience and Rally trials to be held on March 28-29, 2026, at Ultimutt Knoxville.

Entries close at 6:00pm ET on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, for the upcoming ORKC Obedience and Rally trials. The November 8-9, 2025, event will be conveniently located at Ultimutt Knoxville, a climate-controlled facility, in west Knoxville. We will be offering one obedience and two rally trials each day on Saturday and Sunday. Details for early crating and ring rental on Friday are in the premium.
