Miss Daisy has been living her best life at the beach! Daisy was delivered to her handler about 7 months ago as a Psychiatric/PTSD Service Dog. Her tasks include DPT(deep pressure therapy), buffering, and while she has been there she has also been volunteered at her handler’s workplace where she has learned to alert to anxiety and provide grounding during crisis situations to staff there. We are so proud of everything she has accomplished so far💚

Mia is back with us for some scent training! Last time she stayed with us, we imprinted her on clove oil. This time we are working on encouraging her to actively sniff the scent to pair it with a reward. Over time, distance will be built and we will teach her to “search” so that her owners can have a fun, mentally stimulating job for her at home.
