🚫 Oppose dog trainer license for New York!! 🚫
As many of you have experienced during our training sessions, training is NEVER a one size fits all approach. Each dog, like people, is unique and may not respond to the same training as the next.
Mandatory licensure like this is putting all dogs in one learning box. Not only does this not work, but it can be dangerous.
The dog training industry is not regulated, but that is where YOU as the owner come in. Do your research. See evidence of how your trainer expects to work with your dog. Ask them about their methods. This is how we create a regulated industry.
