Meet Bandito! This young fella is ready to find his forever home after finding his way to BBR from Lawrence Animal Control. He’s a silly, snuggly and affectionate guy who enjoys other dogs! He’s a laid-back guy who is learning how to live in a home and thriving with his routine & starting to enjoy his crate. He loves his daily walk and is very food motivated aka easy to train! 💙🐾 MEET ME MONDAY: BEAU BEAU! 🐾💙

Meet Beau, aka Beaumon, Beau Beau, and Seepy! Yes, this boy has more nicknames than most of us have outfits! 😂

Beau is a guy with TWO sides: 🐕💨 Playful, goofy, ready-to-go Beau… and 🛋️ Snuggly, movie-night, professional-cuddle-buddy Beau. Best of both worlds!

Beau came from the streets down south, and he’s still learning that new people and new situations can be safe. He needs a patient person who understands that trust takes time, but once he starts to warm up, his loving personality shines! 💕

He also struggles with separation anxiety, so he’s looking for a home where someone can give him plenty of companionship and help him continue building confidence. His crate is his safe space, and he’ll need someone willing to keep working with him at his pace.

✨ Beau’s dream home? A patient, understanding human who sees his potential, celebrates the little victories, and has room on the couch for one very lovable boy!

He has SO much love to give. He just needs someone willing to help him feel safe enough to share it. ❤️

🖤🐾 KONA! 118 POUNDS OF LOVE, LOYALTY & CUDDLES! 🐾🖤

After spending a YEAR waiting at a boarding facility for a foster home, Kona finally got her chance in September 2026 — and this beautiful girl is FLOURISHING! 🥹❤️ Now it’s time for her next chapter: finding the forever home she deserves!

Kona is a two-year-old, purebred Cane Corso with a HUGE heart for her people. She’s smart, funny, loyal, and eager to please. She knows sit, stay, place, wait, leave it, come and so much more! Training is one of her favorite ways to bond with her person, and she loves having a job to do.

Her ideal day? A hike in the woods, a little game of tug, a car ride adventure, and then curling up on the couch with her favorite human. For a 118-pound girl, she’s surprisingly happy with a medium-to-low-energy lifestyle once she’s had her exercise! 🐶💕

Kona is a guardian breed, and she needs an adopter who understands that building trust takes time. New people can be overwhelming, so she needs a confident, patient person who will give her space, provide structure, continue her training, and help her build confidence at her own pace.

Kona also has a seizure disorder that is well managed with medication. Her routine is simple: two pills with breakfast and two with dinner. Her previous home wasn’t equipped to manage her condition, but that doesn’t define her or the incredible companion she can be!

Kona isn’t asking for a mansion, endless adventures, or someone to entertain her every second. She wants a safe home, a person she can trust, a sunny spot to lounge in, and someone who will love her for exactly who she is. ❤️

She spent a year waiting for someone to give her a chance. Her foster home has shown us just how much she can blossom when given that opportunity.

💙 WALLY GOES HOME… NOW TRODAI! 🏡🐾

Some happily-ever-afters are extra special, and Trodai’s is one of them! 💙

Trodai came to BBR after being found as a stray by our friends at Boston Animal Control. He had a rough start and needed lots of medical care, but this boy proved just how strong he is. He fought hard, held on, and showed us that he wanted to LIVE! 🥹💪

With the love and dedication of his amazing foster family, Mac, Michael, and Mark, Trodai got his chance to heal, grow, and prepare for the life he always deserved.

And now… HE’S HOME! 🎉🐾

Congratulations to Jennifer and Mike on welcoming Trodai into your family! And the best part? He gets to join BBR alumni Mollie and Ruairí in his forever home! How wonderful is that?! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who played a part in Trodai’s journey, from the team who found him to the people who helped him heal and the family who opened their hearts to him.

💙 FRIDAY FEELS: ZIGGY’S HAPPY ENDING! 💙

Once upon a time, this handsome boy was known as Manny. He came to us with his momma and three siblings after an emergency situation turned their whole world upside down. 🥺

Thankfully, they landed exactly where they needed to be. ❤️

Manny was welcomed into the most amazing foster family with Tori, Nathan, and their pups Gemma & Bruno, who showed him what safety, love, and being part of a family really felt like. 🐾

And then came Julia & Ben. 💕 They met Manny, fell in love, and knew this sweet boy was meant to be theirs.

Now Manny is officially ZIGGY and living his very best life! 🏡✨

From an emergency situation… to a loving foster home… to a forever family.

This is what rescue is all about. ❤️

🏡💛 HAPPY FOREVER, OHANA! 💛🏡

Some dogs wait a little longer for their happily ever after… and some just need the right people to finally see them. 🥹🐾

Ohana spent several months at Leicester Animal Control after being found as a stray. For a while, he didn’t even have a name. He was simply waiting… hoping someone would choose him.

Then Dawn and Jay walked into his life. 💛

They gave him a name: Ohana.

And you know what that means… Ohana means family. 🥹🏡

And now, it’s official — Ohana has found his family! 🎉🐶

Congratulations to Dawn and Jay on their newest family member! We couldn’t be happier that this sweet, buttery boy gets to spend the rest of his days surrounded by love, snuggles, and the people who knew he was meant to be theirs.

From a nameless stray waiting at animal control… to a beloved member of an Ohana of his very own. ❤️

💕 HI, I’M PIPPA! 💕

I’m tiny, adorable, and basically a professional snuggler. My favorite hobbies include burrowing under blankets, curling up on warm laps, finding the sunniest spot in the house, and being wherever my people are. 🥰☀️

Cold weather? Hard pass. I was not designed for that nonsense. Give me a cozy blanket and a human to cuddle and I’m one happy little girl!

I’m a social butterfly and LOVE my people. I like other dogs too, but I have some very important opinions about sharing my toys and food. 😏 So I need a family who understands resource guarding and is experienced with dogs like me—or I could happily be your one-and-only.

And food? Ohhh, we are BEST FRIENDS. 🍗 Treats make me very motivated to learn, although I’m still working on remembering that good manners are apparently required before snacks are distributed. 😂

I’m sweet, playful, curious, snuggly, and full of personality. I may be little, but I have a whole lot of love to give.

So… who wants a tiny blanket burrito with a big personality? 🌯🐾❤️

💛 SUNDAY SPECIAL: ANOTHER GOLDEN RETRIEVER IN A BULLY BREED-BASED RESCUE. 💛

Yep. You read that right. 😂

“But why is a Golden Retriever in a bully breed-based rescue?”

Because sometimes a dog is a dog who needs help — regardless of what breed is written on their paperwork.

Meet DEXTER! 🐾

Dexter is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever who is smart, sweet, energetic, and absolutely LOVES his people. He’s house trained, knows his basics, and is eager to learn.

So why is this golden boy with BBR?

👉 He’s leash reactive to other dogs.
👉 He’s higher drive and needs an active lifestyle.
👉 He needs someone who understands that a young, energetic dog needs more than a daily walk around the block.

Dexter is looking for an experienced adopter who enjoys training and is ready to keep his body AND brain busy. He currently lives happily with another male dog, but we’re looking for a female dog companion or an only-dog home.

🐱 He has lived with a cat, but future introductions should be slow and carefully managed.
👧 Children 12+.
🏃 Active home strongly preferred.

Because rescue isn’t about rescuing a certain breed. It’s about rescuing the dog who needs you. ❤️

🐾 Friday Feels: Meet the Girl Who’s Making Up for Lost Time

Meet Fiadh—a 2-year-old German Shepherd who is learning that the world is actually a pretty wonderful place. 🥹🐾

Fiadh’s story didn’t start the way we wish it had. For the first year of her life, she wasn’t really exposed to the world or many people. Then, suddenly, everything she knew changed when she was surrendered to animal control.

But now? She’s making up for lost time, one new adventure at a time. ❤️

Her foster family is showing her just how amazing life can be, and Fiadh is soaking it all in. She may not be the most confident girl yet, but she is incredibly curious, smart, eager to learn, and eager to please.

And once she feels comfortable, her personality shines! ✨

PUPPY SPAM SATURDAY! 🐾

If it’s not a thing yet, it definitely should be! 😍🐶

Our puppies are busy checking ALL the important boxes with their fosters—working on their socialization checklist, learning their basics, practicing those leash skills, and soaking up all the good life lessons.

And these babies are absolutely crushing it! 💕 They’ve been amazing in their crates and are doing great with kids, dogs, and other animals.

But remember… puppies are cute, cuddly, and A LOT of work! 🥰 Adopting a puppy is a lifetime commitment, and we want to help every family get off on the right paw. 🐾

That’s why all BBR puppy adopters are required to complete a training class. Because raising a great dog is a team effort—and we’re here to help set everyone up for success!

Now excuse us while we continue the puppy spam. 😍🐾

Diego is a happy-go-lucky little guy who believes life is better when you’re surrounded by people, dogs, and plenty of attention! 🥰

This social butterfly adores everyone and absolutely loves his dog friends. His favorite activity is definitely PLAY, PLAY, PLAY! 🎾🐾 But when playtime is over, Diego is also a professional napper and can happily curl up for a good puppy snooze. 😴

He’s silly, sweet, social, and full of that adorable puppy energy that makes you smile without even trying.
