Hoof & Paw is an Animal Rescue Organization located in Nucla and Naturita, Colorado. We are a group of volunteers who help stray and abandoned animals. We put them in foster homes and try to find them permanent loving homes. We get them medical care when needed and we have a No-Kill philosophy. We also promote spaying and neutering through clinics and funding assistance. We are always looking for more volunteers and foster homes. Because we are Non-profit we always need and accept Donations.

Energetic individuals who enjoy hiking are needed to volunteer at our shelter. We have a lot happening here and it would be a huge help to have people come and walk our dogs. Shifts are available in the morning and evening. Volunteers would take 2-3 dogs out at a time, walking them and then returning to collect more until all dogs are cared for.
