This is a post I never thought I'd write, and it might come as a shock to some, but after a lifetime, I'm stepping away from the horse world. This will be my last week working at the ranch.
For those who know me well, you know the family business has been more than just a job; it's been a part of my identity for my whole life. This decision has not come lightly and has been one of the hardest I've ever had to make. It's truly tough to step away from something that's been such a huge part of my life.
I'm so grateful for all the experiences, lessons, and memories made within those walls and for the incredible support of my family. While it's incredibly tough to close this chapter, I know this change is positive and necessary for my personal and professional growth.
The hardest part, by far, is leaving behind the wonderful students and clientele who have become like family. I've had the immense privilege of working with so many amazing students throughout my life, and the bonds we've formed are something I'll cherish forever.
Please know that saying goodbye (for now!) to those relationships and the thought of not seeing you all regularly anymore is incredibly heartbreaking. 💔😭
While I'm stepping away, please know that closing this particular chapter does not mean it's a permanent goodbye forever – I fully intend to return to the horse world at some point in the future.
Thank you all for the memories, the support, and for being such a significant part of my journey. 🫶🏻💙🤍💖
