What better day than today to feature Winston, our green-eyed guest from Norwood! Winston is an affectionate and happy go lucky guy who is staying at The Kitt Inn while his family is on vacation in Vietnam and Cambodia! Here are some fun facts about him:

1.) Winston is a super sociable kitty and warms up quickly; he loves people and often makes an appearance to greet guests at home.
2.) He has been on a weight loss journey for the past couple of years.
3.) His favorite place to hang out at The Kitt Inn is inside the cottage scratch box, which he fits inside so perfectly 🥹.

📣 Pineapple has been adopted 😻!

Last October, in honor of National Black Cat Day 🐈‍⬛, The Kitt Inn sponsored the adoption of Pineapple 🍍, a challenging rescue cat who had been waiting for his forever home for quite a while.

We are elated to share that Pineapple was finally adopted in February and has been living his best life ever since ❤️!

Congratulations to Pineapple and his new family, and also to for the successful placement! 🍾👏🏼 🎉 💕🐾

Meet Audrey, from Boston! Audrey is a chill and affectionate senior tabby who is staying at The Kitt Inn while her mom is sailing around on a Caribbean cruise 🛳️! Here are some fun facts about her:

1.) Audrey was found as a kitten in a tree by her mom.
2.) She was a farm cat for a year before she moved to Boston and became a city kitty.
3.) She loves hunting games like her SmartyKat toy.
4.) Audrey can always be found hanging out in the cat tree or on a couch, her two favorite spots at The Kitt Inn!

3.) Penny is a more relaxed and go-with-the-flow type of gal and loves to sleep on your lap when it suits her.

Meet Scoochie, our valentine from Stoughton! Scoochie is a sweet senior lady who is staying at The Kitt Inn and spending Valentine’s Day ❤️ with us while her parents are on vacation in Florida! Here are some fun facts about her:

1.) Scoochie started sitting at the table during the pandemic to see what her parents were eating (see last 3 photos her parents shared with us 😻).
2.) She is a sweet, cuddly, docile lap cat who loves attention.
3.) She looks like she is angry and snarling, but it is because she’s missing her canines. She’s not mean, she just has a cosmetic issue 😼
4.) Her favorite place to hang out at The Kitt Inn is the cat tree! She also loves watching TV!

The Kitt Inn Norwood visits Costa Rica 🇨🇷🐈!

If you’re heading to Costa Rica and visiting the North Pacific coast of the Guanacaste province, is a stop you must make if you’re in the area. This adorable cat cafe is a dream 😻! “Miss Meow” has built a paradise in paradise for her cats, some of which are permanent residents and some adoptable and waiting for their forever homes. Not only did we enjoy socializing with all the happy, healthy, and friendly kitties, we were blown away by the delicious snacks and drinks (included in the admission ticket) hand-crafted by the owner herself…so tasty AND cute🐱🥪🍹!

We hope we’ll have another opportunity to return to Costa Rica and get the chance to visit Purr Vida Lounge again, and we hope “Miss Meow” has a reason to come to Massachusetts some day so she can visit us at The Kitt Inn 😸.

Meet Kai and Luna, from North Attleboro! This precious pair of purr machines were foster kittens of ours last summer and they are back for a vacation at The Kitt Inn as guests 😻. Here are some fun facts about them:

1.) Kai loves all kinds of toys, especially ones he can carry in his mouth. He enjoys sitting on laps and getting pet while he snuggles. He is often found curled up with his sister.
2.) Luna likes to sit on top of Kai or lay on him wherever he is. When she’s not playing or wrestling with her brother, you’ll find her sitting on top of the cat tower napping.
3.) Kai and Luna seem to remember us because they warmed up instantly and started purring as soon as they arrived at The Kitt Inn! (See last 3 photos of them as foster kittens 🥹).

3.) He is very clever and will find any hidden treats or catnip that is within reach
4.) Poopie is our second, but first official, Suite #2 guest!

Meet Lily and Dion, from Needham! These gals are spending the weekend at The Kitt Inn while their parents are down the Cape enjoying some holiday festivities. Here are some fun facts about them:

1.) They wrestle with each other like they are in the UFC
2.) They both were so small when they were adopted that they hid in their parents’ dresser drawer and couldn’t be found (thankfully they don’t fit anymore)!
3.) Lily is very interested in treats and sleeping, while Dion loves to play and will tug on her mom’s pants leg for play time
4.) They like to sleep in their other mom’s office and ransack her desk

3.) She loves to take off decorations from the Christmas tree and scatter them through the house

Last month, in honor of National Black Cat Day (October 27), we pledged to help a black cat 🐈‍⬛ find their forever home in November 🖤. We are delighted to introduce you to this handsome fella named Pineapple🍍😻.

Pineapple came all the way from Florida and is currently in a foster home supported by Bay State Animal Cooperative (BSAC), a no-kill rescue in Norwood. After an unfortunate false start with his previous owner, Pineapple found his way to BSAC and has been patiently waiting for his forever family ever since ❤️.

About Pineapple:
1.) He is an adult cat estimated to be 6 or 7 years old
2.) He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines
3.) He is a friendly and affectionate guy and wastes no time curling up on an empty lap
4.) He prefers a home with no other cats
5.) He does not have any teeth because he needed them removed due to severe dental disease. He is feeling so much better now and has adjusted just fine!
6.) He requires a special food to help keep his sensitive digestive system in check

We are so happy to announce our sponsorship of Pineapple by covering his adoption fee of $175 for his very lucky future family 🫶🏼. We are also donating an additional $125 to support Pineapple’s new family with the expense of his special diet.

Pineapple deserves a loving home and we hope he finds one very soon!
