We're back!
As you all know our office was closed last week due to us attending VMX in Orlando. VMX is one of the largest veterinary conferences in the world. While we enjoyed the slightly warmer weather we also all learned so much while we were there. We appreciate all of our clients for their understanding and patience so that we could all continue our education. Continuing education in the veterinary field means we get to keep improving to provide your pets the best care we can!

REMINDER WE WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY JAN 16th - SUNDAY JAN 25th.

Normal business hours to return Monday Jan 26th.

Prescription requests must be called or entered through our portal no later than WEDNESDAY 1:30pm if you expect them to be ready for pick up on Thursday.

Make sure to double check you have enough medication to get through til at least Tuesday Jan 27th

Unfortunately we will have to close the office today, Friday, Jan 2nd.

Dr. Culverwell is really sick and unable to see any appointments.

We hope everyone else is starting the new year off better. We plan to be open on Monday regular hours.

Thank you for your understanding, this was a hard decision for Dr. Culverwell to make.

KEEP YOUR PETS COOL!
With this heat, particularly heavy humid heat, take steps to keep your pet cool.

Walk/Exercise your dog in the early morning when it is much cooler and not as humid. Only take them out to use the bathroom during the hot part of the day.

Provide plenty of water, shade if outside.

DOGS AT HIGHEST RISK
- Brachycephalic (Short/Smushed nose dogs)
- Long Haired/Heavy coated dogs. (Not recommended to shave them as their coat is designed to help keep them cooler than if they were shaved)
- Senior dogs
- Obese/Overweight dogs. (The more fat on them the harder it is to cool themselves. Think of the fat as insulation, keeping them warmer)

IF AT ALL CONCERNED YOUR DOG MAY BE OVERHEATING OR HAVE HEAT STROKE CALL IMMEDIATELY.
IF WE'RE ARE NOT OPEN THEN CALL A 24/hr FACILITY IMMEDIATELY.

Next week Dr. Stevi will have knee surgery and she will be out the next 3-4 weeks for recovery.

Thankfully Dr. Matt will be here to help most of these next few weeks.

The next few Fridays (May 23rd, 30th & June 6th) we will be open for prescription pick-ups and answering the phones. WE WILL NOT HAVE A DOCTOR AVAILABLE.

THURSDAY JUNE 12th & FRIDAY JUNE 13th THE OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED.
