Y’all! 🙌 Don’t know about you, but Spring 🌸🌺🌼 has flown by for us like 🐎🐎🐎 Fireball ☄️arrived at Circle S for a last month, and this spunky sure earned her namesake 😃 Shane’s says as you work on refining , a brief pat on the neck is all the reward you need to signal success. Don’t get in a hurry and reward every single movement. Be patient, and give your horse the opportunity to make the right decision and earn her reward (rest).🥇

Circle S was blessed to be onsite this past weekend in Hutchinson, KS while the Wild Horse Youth Challenge youth trainers were matched with their 🐴 What a delightful and diverse group of this year! 🧡🤍🤎💛 We are excited to watch the trainers over the next few months 🗓️ As always, Shane is available to help with a or two 👍 so don’t hesitate to reach out to Circle S Horsemanship!📱💬

What a month it’s been! 🙌 Smooch is a 🏁 learner and has made lots of progress during his initial 30 days at Circle S. From starting out somewhat skittish and buddy dependent🐴🐴 Smooch is gaining everyday and building a strong connection with his owner. To work through , Shane’s says you can use ropes, flags, a plastic bag tied to the end of a stick - just about anything! It’s more important to get them used to the object without reacting, rather than using it as a cue to signal you want movement.

Shane’s been so busy the last few weeks, we forgot to post about our good buddy - Hank🐴

We are happy to report that Hank completed his initial 30 days 📚, and has made his way home to his family 🏠. The foundation has been set, and he will continue to learn and gain confidence as he gets more miles and experience with different riders. 🏇

Here’s a few highlights of his progress👏. Thank you to Hank’s family for trusting Shane with him!
