Our pets, clients, and staff safety are our top priority. At this time we are currently only seeing patients at Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital and not taking in any boarding reservations or grooming appointments and closing The Dog Wash. We will keep you updated as we monitor the situation with COVID-19. Thank you for your understanding and support.
To Our Amazing Clients,
We are continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and are doing everything we can to keep our patients, clients, and staff safe and healthy.
At this time, we have decided to only see essential cases. We will not be taking in any boarding, bath, or grooming appointments. Surgeries and exams will be booked on a case by case basis.
To minimize contact, we are also asking that only our hospital staff members come inside our building. If your pet has surgery or an exam scheduled with us, we ask that you call us from the parking lot when you arrive. Over the phone, a receptionist will go over any needed details and forms. A veterinary assistant will then meet you at our front door for you to drop your pet off with us. A veterinarian will give you a call to discuss their exam or surgery. For exam appointments, we ask that you wait in your car and for surgeries, we will give you a call to let you know when your pet will be ready for pick up.
For checking out, we will go over any discharge instructions and take payments over the phone, and then will meet you at the front door for you to receive your pet.
For medications or picking up food, give us a call when you arrive and we will take payment over the phone. We will then leave your items outside the front door for you to pick up. We will be transitioning towards using our online pharmacy to ship directly to your home, especially for special diets and medications for chronic conditions. Please let us know if you are interested in this option.
Our goal is to reduce the risk of exposure and potential transmission of the COVID-19 virus while enabling the highest level of veterinary care.
If your pet has surgery or an exam scheduled with us, we still ask that you please notify us in advance if you feel you're at risk for COVID-19, if you have recently traveled, or been sick.
