Good Sunday morning friends! Gus here! 🐾

I hope your weekend is going as well as mine is! I got to go on a big adventure to Northwood Meadows, and I think I nailed it. I trotted right along beside my friend Cinnamon, taking in all the sights, smells, and sounds on a 3-mile sniff hike. There were so many interesting things to investigate!

My human said I was very well behaved, but honestly, I was just having the best time. And as if the hike wasn't exciting enough, I got to enjoy a munchkin afterward. Now that's what I call a perfect day. ❤️

I've been practicing for life with my future family, and if today's outing is any indication, I'm ready for plenty more adventures, walks, treats, and snuggles.

Howlo! Do you remember that adorable puppy from last night's goodnight post? The one sleeping peacefully and dreaming sweet puppy dreams?

That was me! ❤️🐾

I know I looked pretty cute all curled up and sleeping, but I think I'm even more adorable when I'm awake.

My name is Jasper, and I'm around 4 months old and 25-30 lbs. of sweet, playful puppy energy. I love playing with other dogs, I've done well with cats, and I enjoy spending time with kids too. Basically, I'm a big fan of making friends.

Right now, I'm busy growing, playing, and getting ready for a big adventure because I'll be heading to New Hampshire next week to start my search for a forever family!

There is nothing better than getting that first foster update and hearing that a pup is already feeling right at home. ❤️

Here's what Rossi's foster family had to say after his very first night:

Rossi’s first night…..

After a thorough evaluation, I can report that this guy appears to have only one fault... his appetite, but we will work on that.

He ate well last night, was a little less enthusiastic about breakfast this morning, but has excelled in every other category. He settled right in on the couch, slept soundly through the night, has shown zero concern about sharing space with my two cats, and greeted the neighbor's dog this morning with a wagging tail.

His leash manners are excellent, although his nose is clearly operating at maximum capacity at all times. Every walk is an investigative mission.

Most importantly, he's a world class snuggle bug and an absolute pleasure to have around. ❤️🐶

Snuggler ✅
Sniffer ✅
Rides well in the car ✅

Tonight, these sweet puppies are sleeping safely in a foster home, dreaming puppy dreams, and getting the rest they need before their journey to Mary's Dogs next week. ❤️🐾

Their second chance began with our rescue partner, Amy’s Animal Rescue of Star City, whose team works tirelessly day after day to help dogs in need. Rescue is not always easy, but because of their dedication, puppies like these get the chance to experience safety, love, and the bright futures they deserve.

To Amy, her team, and our amazing community who help make these second chances possible, thank you for never giving up on them. We'll see you soon, sweet pups!

That's exactly how I'm feeling. ❤️

My name is Elliott, and I'm hoping this is the weekend my forever family finds me.

Snuggles? Yes, please. Following you around? Absolutely. Being your loyal best buddy? That's my specialty.

I'm sweet, gentle, great with kids, and very respectful of other dogs. In fact, I'm such an easygoing guy that I get along with just about everyone.

And I can't forget to mention this adorable smile of mine!

Hi! My name is Jewels and I'm around 3 years old and 35 lbs. My foster family says I’m basically the total package!❤️

What should I tell you first? I know! I love everyone I meet. Big dogs? Little dogs? Boy dogs? Girl dogs? I love them all. If there’s another dog nearby, there’s a very good chance I’ll try to snuggle with them. I’m also great with kids! As for cats, I saw one through a glass door once and honestly… it looked a little suspicious, so I kept my distance.

I’m house trained, crate trained, good on a leash, and I ride nicely in the car once you help me in. I LOVE sunshine and being outside, but I’m also a professional napper and cuddle expert once it’s time to relax indoors.

I’m a huge fan of toys, especially ropes, stuffed toys, and squeaky toys.

Basically, I’m just a sweet, happy girl looking for my forever family. Maybe it’s you? 🐾
