Last weekend we made a trip to check on the hunting property, and it's almost that time of year again! The work is about to begin as we get everything ready for the season.

We checked the trail cameras, and the big boys are moving. Check out what we've captured over the past couple of days. The season looks promising if they stick around.

Another year at the Hunting Expo in Birmingham! 🦌

We've been bringing our kids to this expo since they were riding around in strollers, and it's pretty cool that at 20, 18, and 15 years old, it's still something they all look forward to every year.

Today, my son, Mason picked up his first hunting saddle, and Robert bought one a few weeks ago. They're planning to use them on their week-long Illinois hunt this fall. We're curious... who else has made the switch to saddle hunting? What do you think about it? Pros? Cons? We'd love to hear your experiences!

Here's a photo of part of our crew from today. We always enjoy attending the expo and purchasing things for Bare Bones, but also getting some cool things for ourselves.
