HELP WANTED at our boarding kennel/dog daycare in NORTHPORT:

We are fast approaching fall. Some of our employees are headed off to college. We are so excited for them, but that leaves us short staffed.
If you are a reliable, responsible and hard worker, we would love to talk to you.

Part-time
-Must have experience with animals
-$16 start with raises as you learn the job, show up for your shift with no calling out, etc.

Pet care: Cleaning, feeding, caring for, walking, and exercising dogs. Cats too.
There will be clerical desk work. Check pets in and out. Cash owner invoices out. Call customers back. Enter notes on pets in our care. No social anxiety.
-You must love animals.
-You must have your own reliable transportation.
-You must show up to your shift. -Have patience and a kind heart. -Must be drama free and get along well with others.

There is a dangerous heat index alert for the next three days. We will take every precaution necessary to keep your dogs, comfortable and safe at our facility.
Remember to make sure that walks are short, water is plenty, and you keep your pups in a cool place.

Brachycephalic breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Shih Tzus are especially prone to heat stress during summer 🌡️.

Their short muzzles make cooling through panting difficult, risking overheating. Keep them cool, well-hydrated, and avoid intense play on hot days. Walk early morning or evening, take shorter walks, and use a harness instead of a collar to reduce airway pressure. Providing a cooling pad or indoor activities helps maintain comfort. Regular vet visits ensure their breathing stays healthy. 🐶💧
