IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

For the past year, Believet Board and Train has been honored to serve our customers and their beloved dogs. Your trust in us has meant the world, and we’re deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of your pet’s journey. Today, we’re writing to share an important update about our programs - and to thank you for your support.

A Shift in Focus: Strengthening Our Mission
As a nonprofit dedicated to training service dogs for veterans with
disabilities, Believet is refocusing our resources to maximize our impact.

Starting August 1, 2025, we will no longer offer overnight boarding
services through Believet Board and Train. This change allows us to
direct all our energy toward:
-Training life-changing service dogs for veterans with PTSD, MST,
mobility challenges, and other disabilities.
-Expanding community training programs, including:
o Day training & private lessons
o Group classes (puppy, obedience, and more)
o Specialized training for assistance, facility, and emotional support dogs.

What This Means for You
-Active Boarding Reservations: If you have a reservation
scheduled after August 1, we’ll reach out personally to help
transition your dog’s care.
-Continued Training Services: Our expert trainers remain available
for day training, group classes, and private lessons - now under
the Believet nonprofit umbrella.
-Referrals: We’re happy to recommend trusted local partners for
boarding needs.

🐾☀️ The warm weather is here and you know what that means… our agility equipment is officially out and ready for action!

Murphy the mini aussie is a natural athlete, flying over the jumps and a torpedo through the tunnel!

The dogs enjoy much deserved a break from their lessons to burn off some energy, build confidence, teamwork, and just have fun!

🐾 Dog Of the Week: Meet Harper! 🐾

We’re thrilled to introduce our Dog of the Week, Harper! She’s a sweet and energetic Labrador who has been a member of our kennel family since she was about a year old! 🐕💖

Harper first joined us for training through our Board & Train program, and she’s been a star ever since! 🌟 Whether she’s here for boarding or Day Training, Harper consistently impresses us with her eagerness to learn and show off what she knows. Her owner’s dedication to her training is clear, and it truly reflects in how well Harper handles each session.

A few days each week, Harper joins us for day training to get out of the house while her owner is at work. During her visits, she burns off energy running off-leash with her friends, works on her socialization with new people and dogs, and sharpens her obedience skills. Harper has made incredible progress in trusting and meeting new men, as well as becoming more relaxed in new environments.

It’s clear that Harper loves her time here, and we love watching her continue to grow and thrive. She’s the perfect example of how consistency, love, and training can make a dog truly incredible! 🐾

Evelyn isn't only our Dog of the Week, it's also her birthday! 🎉🎂
Evelyn is a German Wire-Haired Pointer with a sweet and spunky personality. She enjoys cuddling in bed, and burning off her un-ending energy with her friends and her brother, Bartelby.
