Artemis Veterinary Dr. Karen Patti, a trusted veterinarian since 2005, offers compassionate care for your furry companions at Artemis Veterinary.

Her services include both in-clinic appointments and convenient home visits for your pet's comfort. Dr. Patti specializes in and focuses on providing in-home pet euthanasia because she feels it is a service that is very much needed, especially during the pandemic when pet owners have been unable to join their pets inside veterinary clinics. She believes that pet owners typically want to say goodby

e in the home but there is often difficulty with finding and scheduling someone to perform pet euthanasia in the home. Dr. Patti feels she is well-suited for this role, as she has a great deal of compassion for her clients and what they experience in the euthanasia process. She knows first-hand how difficult the decision is to euthanize and how much it impacts the family, as it was a decision she had to make (and carry out) herself two years ago. Her own experience and what she has realized with helping many others through the process allows her to relate exceptionally well to her clients and work with them with extreme care. Dr. Patti received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma and received advanced training as an Emergency Medical Technician at Oklahoma City Community College.

Slow and steady wins the race! 🐢💚

Today we had the pleasure of seeing Diesel the tortoise for his annual exam. As part of his visit, we also took some radiographs to get a closer look at what’s going on under that impressive shell!

Diesel was the perfect patient, taking everything in stride (at tortoise speed, of course). We always love seeing our exotic friends for their wellness visits and helping keep them healthy for many years to come.

We had a special visitor! We got to spend part of the day hanging out with this little man. He kept us smiling the entire time. From playing and cuddling to enjoying feeding time, he brought so much joy and laughter to the clinic. 🐾

Sweet Brinley came in to see us today, and her parents told us she absolutely loves coming. Moments like that mean so much to our team, because we work hard to make every visit as stress-free, comforting, and positive as possible for our patients.
