Thanksgiving is a week away so I wanted to make this post to tell you all how thankful I am to be apart of your dog’s lives. I am especially thankful to have gotten to be apart of the lives that we have lost this year.

I have been working with animals for over 16 years now and everyone has always said to me “it must be nice getting to play with dogs all day” and the truth is… I love it! I know to some people I’m just the groomer but I truly love and treat every one of your dogs like they are my own.

What nobody realizes is the most difficult part of my job.. loosing so many dogs that I love. Every day I see 100s of dogs get older.. over 16 years I have had to say goodbye to more dogs than I could count without actually getting to say goodbye.

So this is my goodbye to all of my friends I’ve lost this year. Every photo will have something written about each dog if you would like to read them. It never gets easier and each home I still go to feels a little more empty without you all there. 😢

When it’s my time to go.. if there is another world or life after this one I hope you are all there waiting for me. Ready to give more kisses and love than ever. And don’t worry, I won’t bring the grooming van 😂

It’s that time of year again! Here are some holiday photos of the dogs I’ve done this week.. I even added my own dog 🥰 I wonder if anyone can guess which one she is? Thank you all for trusting me to take care of your babies ❤️ there will be more photos to come as I get through the month of November so don’t worry.. if you don’t see your dog here I promise they will be done soon! Also keep an eye out closer to thanksgiving .. I will be posting a memorial to all my friends I have lost this year 😢 happy holiday season to everyone!

PAWS in the Park is tomorrow! It looks like we will be dodging the rain - woohoo! So please come and support Save A Dog! There will be a lot of dogs from other rescue groups that you can see in our Adoptable Dogs Parade at noon. Join our pledge walk at 11am, led by WBZ News Anchor and host of Pet Parade, Anna Meiler! Our vendors and food trucks will be waiting for you!!
