Following concerns that the Northampton Borough public pool would not open for the season because of a staffing shortage, the community responded in force. The pool is now fully staffed with management and lifeguards.

“We have a really good group of people,” Borough Manager Brian Welsko said of this season’s employees.

In addition to staffing, repairs are also underway. The pool is expected to open on June 6 at noon.
