I want to give a Huge congratulations to Hallie Mishler and Tot! Tot is a 56” and under division horse. Hallie and Tot were 1 st in Ranch riding which is Jr division grades 3-7
They won jr division 3-5 down and back, speed and action, and pole bending.
They were second in Barrels and Key Hole. This was Hallies 2 nd year of 4-h and her first year in cantering. She has worked really hard and gaining so much confidence this year can’t wait to see those times increase next year. Congratulations Hallie and Tot!

My apologies for the delay in posting, but I have had the privilege of working with some exceptional young individuals in the past year. Regan Hursey and her horse Alex have demonstrated outstanding performance in their 10th year of 4-H English day events. They achieved second place in Halter, Showmanship, and Hunter under saddle, and Reserve Grand Champion in Hunter under saddle. Moreover, they emerged as Grand Champions in Equitation and tied for first place in versatility, ultimately securing second place after a run-off. Alex is a pleasure horse with a steady pace, and Regan and Alex were named high point Sr English Horse on this occasion. Moving onto Western day events, they achieved third place in Halter, second place in Showmanship, and Grand Champion in overall Showmanship. They also won first place in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Trail. Congratulations to Regan and Alex on their dedication and impressive achievements.

Thanks for everyone who put on a great show. Thank you to the judges, and the special people who helped me along the way. Jane Johnson was a little warm but we did good. This 4 yr old is getting better with every show.

The INPHC Freedom Reins show did not disappoint. Oh Special Me (aka Murphy) 1,2 in Toby color and won his green pleasure under both judges. Thank you Judges and staff for a great show. Also Rick Mullen and his horse One Special Order had some great first rides. Pauli Crull and One Hot Invitation was a rock star again. Candis and Joy were getting themselves back in the show pen. Thanks everyone for a great weekend!

This mare is 14.3-15 hands. Leaning harder towards 15 hands. “Sliding Into Memphis” her reg.name is an absolute blast to ride. She has some reining training but has never had sliders on. She stops hard, spins, moves off your legs well. Has been trail rode. Was bought for a teen that has decided she is onto sports and doesn’t have time for the horse. No fault of her own. She is barefoot and is pastured all day. She is shedding nicely and will make a great horse for the right person. I would not say she is a beginner horse. If you are looking for a step up horse and want to work with one to finish however you want she is your girl. I don’t think it would take much. She wants to please and I loved that about her. Located in Edwardsburg, MI.

Family went skating tonight. I have not skated in a reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy long time. I was so happy I could still do it. So for my horse friends you have to skate like your in a hunt seat class keep straight on the long wall go deep into the corners. Look over your shoulders a lot. Or it could be the ranch pen and extending the trot. I giggled to myself!
