Eric Hasbrouck has been a professional trainer at all levels of the equestrian sport for over 35 years. He specialized in getting young riders started in their jumping careers and helping
riders of all levels reach their goals. Eric and the Pavillion team have the ability to train riders from the very beginning all the way up to the highest level of the sport. Eric has served on the Olympic Sele

ction Committee for the United States show Jumping Team for two Olympic Games and for one World Championships. He most recently served as Chef d’Equipe for the 2008 Super League Team in Dublin, Ireland and in Lumen, Belgium in 2007. Eric has won almost every Grand Prix in America and competed successfully in Europe and Canada for 25 years. Highlights include representing the USA in the World Championships in Rome, Italy in 1998 and finishing in the top 20 individually. A large portion of Eric’s career has been spent developing young horses and riders. In addition, he is a licensed course designer in both the US and Canada and currently designs in top venues such as WEF and Spruce Meadows.

He was my center of gravity for 25 of his 31 wonderful years.
A close friend of mine told me once (thank you JC) that if they ever look back at you, they have allowed you to enter their world. I remember that day when Rolex looked back. In that moment, literally the world softened and changed. Keep them close. Love them deeply.

The Pavillion has changed hands. Hard to describe how thankful I am for the past ten years. To Eric Hasbrouck and my partners in the farm in the first instance for helping me through thick and thin. And mostly to all the incredible horses we have loved and cherished together. It really is all about them in the end. The farm is a very special place and I know it will continue to be so in the spirit for which it was built. I’ll be there through the fall with my ponies so come say hi if you can.
