The postman pushes through the barn doors with a violent sneeze, coat dusted not with snow this time, but with yellow pollen caught in the breeze. Spring has arrived in full force,and apparently so has his hay fever. “Sorry I’m a month late,” he mutters between sneezes. “The flowers staged a coup.” With a sheepish nod and a handkerchief in hand, he disappears back outside into the blooming chaos.

This past weekend, Evergarden was hit with an early January blizzard. ❄️
Here are a few snapshots of how our community came together to enjoy the snow, help one another, and make the most of the storm. From clearing paths to sharing winter moments, it was a lovely reminder of the spirit that makes Evergarden home.

🐧 Breaking News: The Great Penguin Bandit! 🐧
Overnight, a penguin heist struck Evergarden Equestrian! Colorful penguins appeared across residents’ lawns, leaving everyone wondering—was it the work of the elusive Penguin Bandit, or another playful trickster? Whatever the case may be - no one knows where they came from. No one saw anything. Feel free to bop them, launch them onto a neighbor’s lawn, start a slow penguin migration, or simply stare at them in silence and deny all involvement.

The mischievous penguins have even made their way to the stable. Hopefully the horses aren’t too spooked by their sudden appearance… though the penguins seem entirely unapologetic.

A very Mare-y Christmas at Evergarden!
Our residents and their equine companions have been making the absolute most of the holiday season. Snowy hacks, peppermint treats, jingly tack, and cozy barn nights. The community is a little winter postcard come to life.🐴
