New little babies we are admitting to the rescue!

Things have been slow for adoption. We have two adults, 3 females that are 5 months, a young baby, and a man that is pregnant. It’s going to be a wil few months and I NEED donations to help get me through. I need to check if we have milk, but kitten food is going to be a hot commodity for us soon…..

If I said yes to all of them I would be drowning in kittens right now. But I can say yes to a few just to try and help my best where I can ❤️

This little girl was found on her own by a community member that has been doing her absolute best to TNVR cats in her area. This little one was all on his own and is at that perfect age we can remove her and find her a real home instead of out on the streets 🥰

I never made a post because my heart was just too heavy with pain. About a month or two ago we said goodbye to Taco. We eased her passing over the rainbow bridge and accepted the fact this world was never ready for her.

We believe she had congenital hypothyroidism which cause some early GI problems that highly affected the motility of her intestines. At a month old she already had mega colon and we worked for weeks to try and stabilize her GI tract. Nothing got better. No meds helped. Taco was constantly uncomfortable from either severe constipation or bought of severe diarrhea.

The only good thing is the day we decided to take her pain away both her doctor and I had a restless night of thinking about it. We came in. Looked at one another. And said today is the day isn’t it?
Part of me feels like Taco was telling both of us, I’m ready to move on now.
We love you Taco and we always will.

Look at this little baby brought to the clinic today. Of course we said yes to taking it, but a friend will be fostering it!
She says we can look for a forever home, but she may also let him stay if he grows on her ❤️ We will FIV/Felv test this baby and get it started on vaccines!

We made maybe some progress overnight? Taco is still alive and acting a little better but still will not pass stools on her own. We are hoping she doesn’t have a life long disability.

The finances are starting to pile up on us. We are $300 into her treatment easily and we haven’t even done any charges for the last day of ICU care. If you’d like to donate we could really use the help. Taco is having to eat only Royal Canin Prescription diet + on special meds that have to be compounded, she will easily drain us of any funds the rescue does have. But I will dig into my own pockets if I have to! I love this little bean.

I really hate to share bad news, but Taco is going through a lot right now. We are having to hospitalize him after fighting since he was two weeks old to control and solve his constipation/diarrhea.
Taco’s white blood cells are extremely elevated along with severe anemia. Our doctor is still looking into exactly what has caused this, but it hasn’t been looking good the last week. Not only does Tack feel sick but her whole b***y is horrifically ulcerated. We are so thankful to my doctor who has been working around the clock to help her.

I wanted to show some support for a friend of mine out in Alaska. She did an AMAZING act of service to the community when she rescued a cat that had been DUMPED on the side of the road. Left in his carrier with urine and f***s. My heart broke hearing his story and seeing how much she already loves this cat.

We want to support her in the next step of his journey: getting Beacon the medical care he deserves. We’re raising funds to cover his vaccines, microchip, and neuter surgery through a GoFundMe campaign.
