Pups got a living space upgrade! Their pen is now 8x8. They have a potty area and will get 24/7 access to water as they make the transition to food. Towards mid week we will be adding in a crate for them so they can get comfortable with it for crate training! Now that they can all hear really well (literally we have to tip toe around the house to not wake them) we have started desensitization noises in the background (trucks, fireworks, thunder, vacuums etc). This helps with fear response in the future. They have also gotten visitors from dogs and cats, which they love ❤️ They are a fan of their tunnel and love cuddling with the giant teddy bear. In about a week they will get introduced to the infamous ball pit. Stayed tuned! Have a beautiful Sunday!

Pups are 3 weeks old! It’s amazing how much they’ve changed in only a short 3 weeks.

They have teeth and have started on goats milk last night (which was successful and messy!) Throughout the week we will begin the early transition to food.

This week we will enlarge their pen. We will be introducing a potty area where we will begin potty training. We will also be putting a crate in their pen to get them comfortable with an enclosed space.

Pups are all between 2.8-3.9 pounds. These guys and gals are expected to be between 8-12 pounds at 8 weeks.

Mingo- 2.8
Swan- 3.9
Fin- 3.5
Octopus- 3.9
Ducky- 3.8
Shark- 3.6
Gator- 3.9

They are starting to go to the bathroom on their own- mom helps them the first few weeks.

They are super playful and talkative now. They spend a lot less time sleeping and more time playing.

We will be sending an email out today to families getting a pup. Be on the look out!

A little post breakfast playtime. Pups are doing well! They are starting to play with each other. These little drunk sailors are walking well and gaining coordination each day. They absolutely love their dog beds! Teeth are erupting! We will begin food this week. They will change so much the next week! Our favorite age is 3-4 weeks old where they become sweet innocent puppies, prior to the full on T. rex and p**p mania stage 😂🥰 Aunt Rosie stopped by for a visit. She loves the puppies and can’t wait to play with them! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Happy 8th birthday to our Bella girl!!

It’s hard to believe 8 years ago we made the trek to Georgia to get our amazing curly Q girl. Time seriously flies. It’s crazy to think Bella has kids that are 4.5 and 3.5 already! Bella is a special girl. She’s a breast cancer survivor. She’s queen of the house. No squirrel or lizard has a chance here. She loves swimming, boat rides, golf cart rides, food, people, car rides, cuddling next to the humans at night in “her” bed, traveling and the other dogs/cats but most notably her daughter Abby. She has a lot of energy still and sprints around our 3 acres avidly keeping the squirrels away.

In usual fashion, we will celebrate tonight with ice cream 🍦- Happy Birthday Sweet Girl 🎁🎊🎉

Pups are 2 weeks old!

They are walking, talking, can see and are starting to hear! These little ones will change so much the next week. We should start to see them play with each other and toys.

This is a big week for the pups- We should start to see teeth 🦷 soon. Once teeth are in, we begin the very oh so messy mush! Pups will slowly begin their transition from milk to food!!

Notice they now have their big boy and girl collars on (Except Mingo bc hers doesn’t fit yet lol)

They will get their first round of dewormer tonight.

They are all between 2.6-2.9 pounds! With the exception being Mingo at 1.9.

Little Mingo says “yupppp. I’m just gonna nap right here” Pups are doing well. Mingo weighed in this morning at 22 oz. Gator and Swan are tied as the heaviest at 36.5oz. Mingo is gaining a lot of weight quickly so we put a little vest on her to prevent a flat chest. She’s gained 2.5 times her body weight in 8 days, which is what we want. The others have doubled their body weight. We should be seeing eyes and ears opening any day now. Enjoy your Saturday!
