🌟 The Puppy Who Deserved Better

Chase ( ) was adopted… and then returned because the adopters didn’t check with their landlord.
Not because of behavior.
Not because of health.
Not because of anything he did.

This tiny black Shepherd mix is exactly what you’d expect from a baby his age sweet, people‑oriented, gentle, and eager to bond. His return is heartbreaking, but it also means someone responsible gets a second chance at an incredible puppy.

⏳ Why He’s at Risk

Shelters are overwhelmed, and puppies who linger even for a short time become vulnerable. Chase has been returned May 28, 2026, and every day increases his risk.

He urgently needs:

• An adopter
• A foster
• Pledges for a rescue

Sharing saves lives comments, likes, and reposts push him into new feeds.

💛 Who Chase Is

• Neutered male, 10 lbs
• 12 weeks old — prime age for bonding and training
• Black Shepherd mix
• Sweet, social, and people‑loving
• Returned due to human error, not behavior
He’s the kind of puppy who melts into your arms and looks at you like you’re his whole world.

UPDATE❤️‍🩹RESCUED❤️‍🩹 🐾 CHAPULIN —

Riverside County Animal Control – Coachella Shelter

❤️ Sweet boy, shutting down in the shelter

Chapulin is a 1‑year‑old, 26.8 lb male Finnish Spitz mix who has been at the shelter since May 1, 2026. Volunteers say he’s a gentle, shy sweetheart who warms up when shown love. Sensitive dogs like him struggle in loud, stressful shelter environments and the longer he stays, the more he will shut down.

He needs out now.
⏳ At Risk — Needs Adopter, Foster, or Rescue
Chapulin cannot leave the shelter without help.
Rescues need:
• Pledges to support his care
• A foster willing to open their home
• Shares to get him seen quickly
If you can’t adopt or foster, sharing saves lives. Every share puts him in front of someone who can help.

🆘🆘Rocket was found locked in a crate, covered in dirt, bones showing, too scared to even lift his head.
A Good Samaritan opened that crate and literally saved him.

Now he’s safe… but only temporarily.
He’s still so skinny, still unsure, still waiting for someone to show him what love feels like.

He needs a foster or adopter ASAP so he can finally come out of his shell.

Your comment or share could be the reason he gets a second chance.
