HAPPY 4TH OF JULY 🇺🇸 from all of us at Taggs K9 !
As the Fourth of July is usually filled with festive, fun activities for humans — please remember that for many furry family members 🐶🐕🐾🐩, the Fourth is filled with fireworks, loud noises and fear.💥

💡A few tips that might help your pup:
• Use a kennel as a safe space
• Play music or TV to to help drown out the noise of fireworks
• Move the kennel to a quiet room, or put a blanket over the kennel
• Have a few fun and short training sessions throughout the day and around the house! Work on some exercises that may require them to move a bit more, like jump, touch, recalls, praise etc. which might help to divert their attention a bit.

Yes! Go Italy! 👏

Italy just became the FIRST major country to allow medium and large dogs to fly in passenger cabins alongside their humans!

For years, dogs over 22 pounds were forced into cargo holds - cold, terrifying spaces that put our furry family members at serious risk.

But now? As long as your dog and carrier don't exceed around 88-99 pounds combined, your four-legged best friend can sit right next to you in an approved carrier, secured with seatbelts!

Italy's Transport Minister called this a "battle of common sense and civility," and honestly? He's absolutely right.

This isn't just about travel convenience - it's about recognizing that our pets are family members who deserve dignity and compassion, not cargo treatment.

This groundbreaking policy is expected to inspire other countries worldwide to follow suit.
