This is what Spring Day was all about. Two hours into the event yesterday, the wind and rain really kicked up. A couple tents and tables full of goods went flying. And everybody there immediately jumped into action to help each other. No hesitation. Love thy neighbor as thyself in real time.

It was not a beautiful day by weather standards, but it was beautiful day nonetheless. Families together, working alongside one another while also having fun. All we saw were smiles and joy. The Lord blessed us with two hours outside and we are thankful for that. We are also so thankful for everybody who participated: the family businesses, the staff, and the customers.

We hope to do this again!

Unfortunately due to weather we had to shut down our event early. We are still doing our raffles inside and Sarah from Poulin Grain is still here with us until 2, but other vendors are heading out!

We are so thankful for everyone’s support and we hope to hold future events (preferably with better weather)!

We know what the forecast is looking like tomorrow — windy, overcast, a bit chillier than we’d prefer for the end of May — but our event is still on!
