We are looking for a loving-forever-home for this amazing girl. Charlie will be 2 years old in April. She is an English Shepherd & Rottweiler cross. Charlie is super intelligent, wants to please her people (making her easy to train), she is also playful and gentle hearted. She will make an awesome companion for an active home or small farm. Charlie loves to play fetch, swim, explore trails and get pets from her people. She is also a good watch dog. Charlie is good with children, other dogs and all farm animals.
Reason for rehoming Charlie: We are a small family friendly dog training business here in Northwest Indiana, we also occasionally hobby bred. Charlie was one of our pups from our previous litter. She showed interest in working livestock more than any of our previous pups. We decided to keep her and see if she would enjoy stock dog work. Unfortunately, Charlie does not love stock dog work. She definitely enjoys helping with farm chores including assisting in moving farm animals occasionally, but she doesn't have enough drive to love working livestock full time. She is an awesome dog and we are very sad to have to let her go but we know it's the best thing for her and she will be much happier in a home where she will get more love and attention, then we can give her but deserves.
