Zeke and Truck want to know your pups favorite ideas for keeping cool this week , these boys enjoy early or late walks to beat the heat, frozen food bowls, floating food bowls , and a nice cold cement floor after soaking in the sun . Plenty of fresh water before sun exposure too!

Miss river getting some mental stimulation with her meal times . Mental enrichment and engagement is vital for a balanced dog . River had her first post assessment session today and did great ! She came to us for reactivity, and eloping through the door , so today we worked name recognition, eye contact, and everyone’s favorite skill: door drills for barking. By the end of her 1 hour session she was able to maintain distance from the door while it was open and stay behind a threshold , accept a guest knocking and entering without barking and redirect after distractions and previous triggers.

Wearing your dog out doesn’t have to wear you out . Whether you have high drive working dogs, multiple dogs, a new baby, or all three! Odin and Luna got mental enrichment mixed with physical activity during a home visit and were sleeping for the night by 8 pm and so was their baby sister!
