What happens when you feed a few neighborhood crows—and they decide to start giving gifts in return? 🐦❤️
When eight-year-old Gabi Mann began leaving food and water for the crows visiting her Seattle backyard, she never expected anything in return.
But the crows noticed.
Before long, they began leaving little “gifts” on her bird feeders—buttons, shiny pieces of glass, LEGO parts, paper clips, screws, and even a tiny silver heart. ✨
Then one day, something even more remarkable happened.
Gabi’s mother, Lisa, accidentally dropped her camera lens cap while photographing a bald eagle. She didn’t realize it was missing.
The next morning, a crow appeared with the lens cap and placed it near the birdbath.
Security camera footage showed the crow carrying it into the yard, spending time rinsing it, and then leaving it behind.
Maybe the crows really did know who it belonged to.
A little girl gave them food and water.
They found their own way to give something back. 🥹🐦❤️
Sometimes, kindness crosses species.
