So proud of the team yesterday!! Gvrdc horse trials were wonderful. Lots of volunteers and riders coming from here and all did such a great job. Great horsemanship and rides for all. It is such an amazing community that we have in eventing and always wonderful to see friendly faces and hear encouraging words everywhere. Thank you GVRDC and all volunteers and organizers and secretary for running this lovely event for us all.

I see God’s blessings in it all. But am I acting in a way that is good and pleasing to Him? My PRIDE gets the best of me sometimes- especially when out competing with my God-given daughters and coaching the amazingly talented students and riding incredible horses that He puts into my life. I give all the glory and all the praise humbly to Him. But man I couldn’t not be prouder. (I’m working on it. lol.) He is so good to me giving me Daniel Schumacher and Bennett who worked all day and then were out scooping paddock p**p till 9pm last night- that man is my greatest blessing. lots of long naps in the grass for the ponies and some really fun dressage lessons last wk too. On to Plantation Field next weekend!

Hello all my riders and families!!! We are getting organized for the 2026 riding season. Here is our proposed schedule. These dates and events are subject to change, we might take some off, or might add some, but it's going to be a packed year! What a blessing it will be to spend it with my incredible people and our much beloved horses :) I should have reached out to you all by now to confirm your lesson days and times. Can you all please text me with your email addresses? I need updated releases and also want to E-mail the lesson schedule and rules out to everyone. Training horses are starting this week and I'm hoping to start next Tuesday with my team rider lessons to prep for early Loch Moy outing. Today is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!!

Attention all lesson/lease students!!! Please text me if you would like to be included in the spring roster for weekly lessons. My best evenings will be Tuesday/thurs/fri so text me any time or day requests within those. This is a comittment for lessons every week 4/1-7/1, on 7/1 I’ll be doing the summer season schedule. So excited to kick off the 2026 riding season! I will have competition calendar posted for my team riders coming soon!!

Temps are negative but waters are liquid, hay is full, green, and fluffy, and the straw beds are fluffed in the run ins!! All the horses are eating , drinking, napping, and p**ping in the sunshine without a care in the world. God is good, He gets all the glory and praise in the good times when all IS Peaceful and still in all the trying times when they are not. Stay warm y’all!

Another riding season has come to an end with a wonderful rainy week of lessons. Much love and so thankful to all my amazing boarders and clients, God has blessed me so much by each and every person that comes thru my doors and rides one of my horses. So thankful for you all and thankful for a year full of laughs, commeraderie, friendship, blessings, and bloopers. Can’t wait to do it all again next year!! First outing will be April Loch Moy and you’ll be needing 3rides min per week in March in order to go, team rider lessons also start in March, our new footing should make that easier 😉 see you all for Xmas party 12/19 at 7pm!!

I've got Luna, Anna, leah, Addison, Audrey, and Rachel signed up to go to Pony Club Jumpers on Thursday. If anyone else wants to go let me know! The show starts at 3, we will leave the barn at 12:30 to go put the finishing touches on the course, and get the show set up.

The team did a fabulous job at the Genesee Valley Hunt horse trials this weekend!!! Ella and Alayna made the official move up to Novice and my Leah to Beginner Novice!! Audrey did her very first rated event and Addison totally killed it as a crowd favorite on her self-trained super-pony. As my ride was cut short because a nasty t storm came thru at the end of the day, it made me wonder what was God protecting my horse and I from on our potential round that was canceled as we were waiting at the ingate? He is so good and so all powerful, the feeling I get when I know He is watching out for me is immediately comfort and peace. So, Bill and I will go another day and everyone is tucked in at home safe and sound. Bennett, Anna, and Rhylin all busted their bums doing rails in the heat all day, what a great support crew. thankful to ALL the amazing people and volunteers putting this event on. Eventing and foxhunting with GVH is a family affair for me and something my kids will have stories about for the rest of their lives. Excited for a big hunting season ahead and to get to more events now! Off to StoneGate in 2 weeks with 8 horses and riders then our favorite-jumpers at the Erie County Fair! Yay summer!
