♥️ I am so grateful every day for our personal dogs ♥️

Addie the Bernese Mountain Dog puppy came for Day Camp last week to work on building her confidence around other dogs. She started the day super unsure & nervous; that’s where Charlie comes in - he is almost always the first dog new puppies get to meet because they immediately come away from that introduction more confident than they started!

Addie met a total of 6 new dogs that day & had a blast! Those are the exact experiences young dogs need to become confident adult dogs. And truly I wouldn’t be able to help dogs like Addie without the assistance of our dogs (and some of my regulars that also contribute 😉)

Miss Sadie has been a frequent flyer since she was 12 weeks old & acts like this is her second home 🏡 no stress when her family travels, she just gets to come visit her pointy earred cousins 😉 And she makes a wonderful office buddy!

🍀 Today included a field trip to Hampton Park with Board & Train Goldie!🍀

Goldie had gotten into the habit of launching herself at passing vehicles (and just about anything else that caught her fancy 🫣); watching her here, you can see a tiny bit of interest in the passing trucks, but she is under control & choosing to stay in her heel position ✅. She’s made incredible improvement the past two weeks and now outings are an enjoyable activity for both ends of the leash! 💛

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Goldie & her family since she was a young puppy. At 7 months old, she’s mature enough now for “adult” dog training - learning how to practice solid obedience skills in the real world. Kind of like getting your first adult job after college 🤓 She’s in her final week of her Custom Board & Train and I can’t wait to work with her owners on her new skills soon!

We have TWO new puppy students in Private Lessons this week! 💜 Addie 💜 is an 11 week old Bernese Mountain Dog & 💛 Calvin 💛 is a 14 week old Golden Retriever. They’re both getting the best start possible so they can mature into well rounded & happy adult dogs!

Puppy training is one of my favorite things - it allows us to take advantage of the most formable time in our dog’s lives, setting them up for success down the road! 🤓

My errand running buddy this week 🖤

Rogue’s time with me is coming to an end & I’m sure going to miss this goofy boy. He’s been a blast to train & has kept me very entertained (if you know Dobermans, you know how silly they can be!) I’m so proud of his progress & know his dad is excited to have him home with his new skills!
