Meet Barnwell- Our one of a kind sploot and cuddle master! Barnwell is a gentle giant who wants to curl up in your lap and just lay there for a while. He is just so affectionate, warm and awesome all around! Barnwell loves to play and sploot around at pupscouts but at the end of all that play he is always ready to cuddle.🩵 WE are so incredibly lucky to have him in the pupscouts family and can’t wait for his next visit!🐾🐾

Dogs are more vulnerable to heat than people are, so it is important to be as informed as possible during this heatwave! And of course, bringing your pup to daycare a few times per week can be a great way to safely get their energy needs met without going out into the heat, and we have 3 individual, full strength redundant AC systems to make sure all pups are happy and protected while they do so!

Hi! We’re Pup Scouts and here’s our story! 🐕🩵

Pup Scouts was founded in 2019 by Henry, with the goal of providing an unprecedented quality of dog care to his home here in the Rockville/Bethesda area, and moved into their current facility in 2024, where it is now run by the husband and wife team of Henry and Indira! 👩‍❤️‍👨

While other dog daycares keep dogs in cages for a large portion of their stay, often more than half the time, and where their owners can not see their dogs, Henry chose to instead ✨ open the first and only dog daycare in the area that is truly cage free.✨

Now Henry and Indira work every day at Pup Scouts to ensure that it is the best dog daycare in the region! ⭐️🐶

Customers can expect to see familiar faces every day, meeting them on drop off and caring for their pups, both in person and on our live webcams.
