UPDATE...ADOPTED!! thank you Mark for sponsoring their adoption ❤️🩷🧡💛💚We Are the Hard Ones…

One of our biggest challenges is finding loving homes for the imperfect cats — the ones who need just a little more time, a little more patience, and a lot of love to blossom.

Meet Gabrielle and Zena. These two girls came to us as feral kittens around 9 weeks old. They’ve now been in foster care for about 4 weeks and are slowly learning that humans can be trusted. They’ll let you pet them, and if you’re lucky, you’ll hear them purr while they sleep. They play — cautiously — and show us more each day that they want to be part of a family.

They aren’t perfect yet, but we know without a doubt they’re on their way to becoming affectionate, devoted companions. All they need is time and a safe, patient home.

Gabrielle and Zena can be adopted together as the only cats in the home, but they’ve shown a strong, positive interest in the foster’s older cats. Because of this, we think they would thrive in a home with a calm, friendly adult cat who can continue to teach them how to be confident and loved.

💛 To help them find their perfect match, we’ve reduced their adoption fee.
They are spayed, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped — ready to start their new life.

Please consider giving these “imperfect” girls a chance. They may be a little shy today, but we see their potential — and it’s beautiful.

Update: rehomed! - Courtesy post: Junior is a neutered black lab, and I believe he's about 6 months old. I'm unsure about other vet visits or vaccinations. He's very sweet, goofy, and eager to learn new things. He's big and energetic and jumps on everyone and everything, which we're working on, and he's taking to it pretty quickly. He is mostly housetrained. But otherwise, he doesn't seem to have much other training. He can sit, we're working on stay, he learns super fast.

He's very loving and lovable and just deserves a great home that can give him the time and attention he needs.

Please fill out an application at foccas.net if interested. Thanks

About Us

FOCCAS has been in operation since July 2005 and in that time we have found homes for more than 1,503 dogs and 2,298 cats. Total adoptions 3,801. In addition, we have helped fund the spay/neuter of over 1200 dogs and 3600 cats in the local community. (as of 12/31/2018)

We work completely by volunteers which allows us to put more money towards helping the animals. All pets are in experienced foster homes and we have an adoption event every Saturday at Pony Village Mall from 10-4pm.

Dog adoptions start at $150, (higher in certain circumstances/puppies) and $75 for cats/kittens. This fee includes vaccinations, worming, flea control, spay/neuter, microchip, and possibly other medical services if required. All dogs will receive a Coos County dog license.

If you have any questions about our services, or if you have an animal that you need to re-home, please email us at [email protected] with questions or information on your pet. And/Or.. If you need help with spaying/neutering your pet, please leave us a message at 541-269-1989 with information about breed, age, weight, name, your address and phone number. If we have any questions we can call you back. The voice mail will be returned by a volunteer. The phone number will be blocked because it is her private number. Please have your phone available to accept blocked calls and have your voice mail set up incase the volunteer needs to leave a message.
