Got some awesome color morphs this clutch! Can't be more happy, mom was wild and father was golden albino.
Figured it's about time I posted again.
This page has been neglected as I don't have time to be a full time breeder by any means, but having axies will forever and always be my hobby.

Stated a grow out tank a couple of months ago so that way I could get planting the tanks as soon as possible as I finished the hardscape on them. Can't wait to see how much they'll grow in throughout the next few months!

The messy fun process of making backgrounds. Using foam/sand/ and cement

Also finally got started on making backgrounds for these aquariums. 1/12 done.
All the background will be made using silicone, spray foam, sand, spray paint, and polyurethane.
All the tanks will have a dirt/sand bottom and be generously planted.

Building the ultimate fish tank rack. It will hold 12 20 gallon long tanks suitable for a total of 24 adult axolotls!

For those wondering what a cool axolotl tank can look like... sand base, large rocks, drift wood, and whatever live plants you can find. This tank has duckweed at the surface (helps diffuse the light required to grow other plants as well as protecting the axies eyes), pothos, and guppy grass.
